We love coming to Jetty Fishery every year because it feels like coming home to family. This year, we spent four days with them. Tony’s stories kept us entertained! On our first day, Ariel set us up with everything we needed for our adventure and Andrew taught me the basics of digging clams. My husband crabbed from the pier while I took a ride across the bay to dig clams and explore. On the following three days, Josh kept us supplied with bait and then James cooked and cleaned our catch for us. Warming up at the bonfire was the perfect beginning and end to each day.

Fresh food prepared simply. Not fancy. Kind of pricey. Crabs, oysters, corn on the cob. They supply a cracker but no other utensils. Drinks, lemons, butter, bagged chips, etc. are available for purchase. The whole setup is kind of primitive but it gets the job done.

Very disappointed They charged you for extra fish on your ring even though you rented for the whole day. You’re not allowed to bring your own crab traps. even when you’re carbs are at the legal size they will not accept it unless they were beyond the size We rented a boat, the engine died. We spent three hours on the water only got two crabs. Spend your money elsewhere We will not be back even though we’ve been here before.

100% Recommend for prices and service
We came here to get a bunch fresh crabs, oysters, and clams for a family dinner. Could not be happier with the prices and level of customer service provided. The man cooked the crabs, cleaned them, and boxed everything up with ice. You can't get any fresher than that! He also shared some interesting information about the area. His boy of about 5 or so was 'helping' which was very cute. Overall a fun experience for us 100% tourists with no clue about the area or the crabbing industry.

Jetty Fishery is a historic place for us, used to moor our boat and leave our camper all Summer, knew all the patrons and owners. Returned this past weekend for a family memorial and Jetty Fishery was top of our list to visit and revisit such wonderful memories. THAT was the opposite of what happened, after enjoying a cold beverage we started over to take a picture of our dear friend, Archie Vintons Memorial Plaque, ( which includes walking through a parking lot) when we heard a lot of yelling, after figuring out who was having a major meltdown…it was directed toward us! We had not even entered the parking lot when “Karen” told us we could not enter that lot without paying for an overnight RV spot. We tried to reason with her letting her know it was a brief walk to PUBLIC land to take a picture of the memorial. I tried to tell her our history with the Jetty and why we were there..she kept yelling and going off about, how nice but it does not matter. I will NEVER set foot there again, the once charming Fishery has now become a change factory. They are clueless on how to run a business. The Lysters would roll over in their graves knowing how rude this women was. Good luck, Karen…you’ll need it.
