Pretty dumpy. New owners but there is a lot that needs to be done. Restaurant was ok. Can only hope time will help them improve. Bathrooms were nasty and had to pay with quarters. Not a good practice. Also charged a pet fee. Not cool. ……………………….
nasty mean selfish owner during a natural disaster
i was hiking the pacific crest trail from canada to mexico and had to stop because of the fires and exit the trail at fish lake lodge,my phone only had wifi signal and the owner would not give me the password for the lodge so i could call for help to get a ride out to safty,he said it was private, and also he said if they have to evacuate he was going to blow his horn and leave, everybody is on their own, what a jerk. you think he cares about his guests, all this and i even paid 18 bucks for a hamhurger lunch.
Hoping for a relaxing summer RV trip
Arrived before 2 p.m. and the space was empty and ready for us. We were told we had to wait until 2 p.m or pay $10.00 extra to occupy it! The restrooms were unkept and very rudimentary! The RV spaces were so close to each other that it felt like we were in an apartment! We grew up here in Southern Oregon, but will never camp at Fish Lake again.
Covid-19 ZERO COMPLIANCE
What a joke!! Ignorant rednecks running this place..from the car park guy to the team at the window. No safety regulation posted in area.. zero compliance very unsafe location for you and your families..
Spent 3 nights in the middle of July 2020. Cabins are cute, no amenities like shampoo or coffee usually given in resorts. We had a friend bring us some. Quiet, pretty, good food, good hiking trails in both directions All of the employees said they had a medical condition so none were wearing masks. Our governor requires them inside and when closer than 6 feet outside. Made me wonder if their state requirements for food preparation was also being questioned.
