Excellent! Reasonably priced, 30 minutes to crater lake.sites small but trees make it private and shady. Hosts were fantastic and so helpful with any questions answered politely and courteous. The Saturday coffee and homemade muffins were a hit and Saturday evening hot dog and music (complimentary) were a bonus. Gave us a chance to meet other campers and share our travel experiences. Ann the owner is gracious and charming and made you feel like family. Wi-Fi worked better than any park we’ve been to so far, and been on the road for 5 weeks now. Lots to explore from here in a short distance, with crater lake, lots and lots of waterfalls, and prospect a mile away. Wish we didn’t have to leave!
Crater lake RV is a nicely put together park. Very short drive over to the local town or 30min up to the national park. They have pull through spots. Easy hook up and friendly guests. We recommend
We stayed here for a week while visiting Crater Lake and we loved the forested park. Lots of nice trees for shade during a heat wave. We are 40 foot and we had no problem getting into our site which was a pull through. Trees were nicely trimmed allowing us to fit. We had a couple of big trees making our site a bit narrow but worth the shade. This is definitely a place with a camping feel not just an RV parking lot. Friendly and helpful hosts. Saturday night activities including FREE hot dogs and s’mores. We would love to return!
The Crater Lake Big Rig RV Park is our 84th stop and we stayed for 7 days during our visit to the Crater Lake region. Camp hosts greeting me were very nice and all camp hosts were excellent and we enjoyed talking to a number of them. Given the summer heat, appreciated the shade from the large trees. The back in site was a little challenging for my 38 foot rig at the entry of the site but when backing in, the site was very deep and wide – thanks to the camp host with his excellent skill directing me in. The asphalt site was level and the utilities nicely placed. Very little road noise and nice trails in the woods near the river for the pup out the back of the park. To top it off, hot dogs and entertainment on Saturday evening with complimentary homemade muffins (they were excellent) and coffee on Saturday morning. A solid park, great value and would definitely stay here again in the future. Would rate it 4.8 overall. In terms of connectivity, no cell service; however, the WiFi is adequate for general web activities including calls. 16.0 down/14.8 up.
This campground has nice spacious clean sites surrounded by trees with lots of shade. They have numerous hosts to make sure that you have all that you need. Saturdays start with coffee and muffin and end with a live band, campfire where campers cook hot dogs and make s'mores. Perfect for families. Campground is located close to Crater Lake and numerous waterfalls and hikes. And on top of all this, exceptional wifi. We are here for six days and this has been one of best camping experiences.
