Ryan the co-owner is a terrible business owner.
The park is falling into disrepair. During air conditioning season the Voltage dips to around 105 volts. Bathroom tile is peeling up. Pavement torn up for some sort of construction and not touched for at least 3 months. The weeds are over grown and almost reach the bottom of my bbq. The park co-owner is non-existent. New RV’s come into the park and cannot find anyone to contact to confirm parking locations. My GFI circuit breaker at the power pedestal was tripped and I was told the occupants are not allowed to use them. The utility bills are high and over charges every one. They sent me a bill for 720 kWh I asked for my meter reads and they said 361 kWh. My in trailer meter agrees with the 361 kWh. I talked to my neighbors and everyone was charged 720 kWh. When I called and finally got ahold of Ryan to let him know there might be a short in the pedestal and that might be why he is getting higher readings than my usage. He turn aggressive and acted like an elementary school child. Ryan did not discuss any thing including the GFI safety issue he just tried to be little me and take cheap shots at me and then finally told me to leave. After that conversation he sent me another utility bill for more but would not give the meter reads to prove it. That seems to me to be the act of a liar and a cheat who was called out. If there is any place other than here to stay. I would go there. Copper Ridge is one of the most expensive with the least amenities and a terrible co-owner. A generator and BLM land is a better option.

Total scam! Don't waste your time or money with this place.
A group of us planned a trip to the area months in advance. My friend was able to reserve all of our spots, only to have Copper Ridge cancel them only a few weeks before our trip. Since then, they have ignored phone calls and emails requesting the reservation fees back. Absolute scam of a place! We drove by this so called "RV resort", after we had found another place to stay in the area, and its a dump. Highly recommend NOT staying here!

Unreliable - Book elsewhere
We called in December of 2022 to reserve a full hookup reservation for the week of the 4th of July holiday. Approx three weeks prior to the trip, we received a message "Sorry, our expansion didn't happen as planned in April, so we can't honor your reservation. All we have available are water-only spots. We’ve cancelled your reservation, please go online to rebook." I realize that s**t happens, and I'm sure that they are disappointed that the expansion was not ready, but they should have called MONTHS prior to advise, so we could look for a spot elsewhere. I can only imagine how many families are feeling as disappointed as we are. As it was a week-long trip, not having electric or sewer was not an option. I have several issues with this interaction: - By the time they called me in early June, other area campsites were SOLD OUT for the 4th of July holiday. Had they called me back in April (when they knew the expansion was not going as planned) we might have been able to book elsewhere - The full hookup reservation I booked was approx. $42 per night. The water-only site was going to be $48. More expensive for basically a parking lot with no sewer or electricity? - No offer of any sort of compensation - rate match for the original reservation, free night for their massive f**k up, nothing. - I called back hoping to speak with someone, left 2 messages, and no one bothered to call me back For a family-owned business, I expected better service. I'd recommend looking at other options in the area.

Save yourself the hassle!!
This place is a dump. I am not sure where the pictures on their website came from, but they ARE NOT of this park. We rented 3 FULL hookup sites months in advance of our actual travel. When we arrived at the park, there was nowhere to check in, the camp host wasn't around, not to mention we had spots 48,49 and 50 and we only found 22 spots in the park. We tried calling the owners, good luck, they never answer and WILL NOT return calls or emails. finally, we get ahold of the guy that runs the joint and he informs us that the lot we were staying at was around the corner. Now when I say lot, that's exactly what it was, a big gravel lot with several holes dug out and what appeared to be service conduit sticking out of the ground. The owner stated he had rented a generator, and spent a lot of money on it, that would accommodate our three RVs and he would be out to the park in a few hours, mind you this is 4 o'clock in the evening. A GENERATOR?? just what I want to listen to all weekend. The owners of this place are shady to say the least, they market and communicate in half-truths, and they are impossible to get ahold of. The park, or resort as they call it LOL, is a dump and mainly houses full time residents, yes folks, it's one of those parks. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. You WILL NOT get what you paid for!

Good stop over...great area
We stayed here for a few months on a trip around the west...park is well kept, people were nice, owner was helpful at directing us to things to do in the area and even finding some local shops to work on our trailer. Its a park, not a "resort" but serves it purpose and we'd come back again on our way through the area.
