Amazing location along the river!
We arrived after hours, but our reservation was posted on the front door. We were taken back by the beautiful riverside location surrounded by mountain forest. Such a GORGEOUS location! The self-serve ice cream machine was so much fun! We dropped way too many dollars in the box. ;) The campground is VERY nice and well maintained. We will return!!
Was told my vintage 1984 Avion trailer didn’t me the parks standards & might offend some of their elite clientele. I stayed there several times in past years & the former owner loved admiring & talking about my silver aluminum trailer. So vintage Avion & Airstream may want to avoid this park. You don’t want your trailer offending anyone. Right?
RV Park with beautiful rivers but close Freight train tracks
Booked for two nights. Recommended by the last campsite we visited. Beautiful setting by the river with good fishing. Read all the reviews diligently... HELLO?? Did nobody notice the freight train which comes day and night every couple of hours? With horns blasting? Really??? Sites boast 50/30/20 amps but ours only had 50/30... consequently we had to keep resetting the power. I think the train is a major factor here and should be disclosed in the description for transparency. We would not revisit because of the proximity of the train tracks and the noise. :(
We recently stayed at Caseys Riverside Park in our 25 ft motorhome. We typically stay at State Parks, but Caseys appealed to us from their web page, and we were thrilled with the location, landscaping, atmosphere, and the clean paved sites. We really appreciated the laundry room and spacious, clean showers (our RV one was leaking) The trains just across the river surprised me (I hadn't noticed any mention of them in the reviews) but they didn't bother us or keep us awake. Our back in site was close to the river, and it was so peaceful to sit and watch and listen to it. We highly recommend Caseys.
This is what we appreciate
These people do it right. We are traveling in a 37' motorcoach with a Jeep Sahara tow vehicle. We made the reservations for this trip, for a stopover on our way home from the Oregon Coast. This place ticked all the boxes (except one). This park is CLEAN and we had a wonderful pull through spot. That saved us from unhooking our tow, even though we stayed two nights. The sites are perfectly spaced and we didn't feel that our privacy was being violated. The view from our pull through was wonderful and we could listen to the river all night. It was quiet and peaceful. I slept soundly until 9 am one morning! I haven't slept that late in years, even at home. Heavenly! Our only complaint was the dog area. Not quite large enough for our Standard Poodles to get exercise. It would be nice if they considered enlarging and maintaining it a bit more. It isn't a big enough complaint to downgrade them to a 4 rating but would like consideration for all of us traveling with dogs...large or small. This park ROCKS! It's clean, it's spacious (more than what we had the previous 7 days in 3 other parks), They have flower pots out with pretty flowers kept up by a very nice lady. The pavement is wonderful (the past 3 spots on our vacation had gravel on all road and pathways) and the view is unsurpassed. We'll be back and we thank you for the hassle-free stay. We checked in, we walked our dogs and let them play in the water, we took care of ourselves and not once did we HAVE to interact with staff. How nice (especially since my husband is a rule follower to the MAX!) Hassle free!
