Best RV Park in the area
We are long-term renters at this RV park. There is no better RV park anywhere for miles. I looked all over before selecting the Blue Ox. The park is kept very clean and the managers Creig and Cindy make sure the park is safe and rules are enforced. The location is perfect. It's right next to the county park and Costco, Walmart, and Home Depot are close by. It's tough to get in for long-term stays and often has a waiting list. You can still get daily or weekly rates. We stayed weekly until a space opened up. They have 30amp and 50amp sites. The 50amp are harder to get though.

Nice Park. Friendly Staff, Quiet and Clean
Staff Cindy Waserman was very nice. Called me within two hours of my sending in the reservation request form. Immediately emailed the receipt. When I pulled up, a man came out and smiled saying hello and said, "Cindy said that has to be Loretta arriving." So friendly and personable. Many sites are pull through and makes it so much easier. Fully contained, cable TV and even propane refilling. Showers, bathrooms, indoor pool, laundry (two buildings) are clean and kept up to date. Paved roads and sites are level, the park is near Lassen RV service, and they have a recreation hall with kitchen and exercise room. Park is pretty quiet. The managers are strict about quiet times from 10 pm to 7 am. You can hear some traffic and people that live there head to work early but its not bad. You may hear a dog bark here and there but nothing continuous. If there are complaints and you don’t address them, it’s grounds for park removal. I had some issues with my newly purchased winterized trailer. They didn’t de-winterized and I didn’t know until six hours away. I couldn’t run water so I didn’t use my black tank. Gratefully, Cindy put me next to the showers/restrooms. Only issue, these closed from 9pm to 9am. You can use a code to go into the other building at the office but it's a bit of a cold walk in March to go at 3 am. I am also disabled, and I don’t walk too well on the cold wet ground. It’s a little scary to be by myself walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It also waked me up. Most likely they lock them up because this building also has the exercise and the rec room with a large TV. It would be nice in the future. If they find a way to do a secure door, they can walk up to that section and leave the bathroom and showers open with a code. I went for a walk around the park and it’s huge. They fill up pretty quick. Everything is kept clean and seems pretty safe. I will return and look forward to it.

very clean and organized place well off the interstate so very quiet. staff was so friendly and helpful. nice shower room though we couldn't use it until 9am so that was a bit of a problem since we wanted to leave before that. will definitely stay here again.

Clean, Friendly staff, No dog park, but very pet friendly.
Easy access from freeways, Very friendly staff. We stayed here last year which is why we returned. Pet friendly but we don’t own pets. Which is the reason for this review. We were in space 143 next to pool and showers which were very clean. But common area between our coach and pool was designated as the doggie dump sight! No matter what time of day as we set down to have a meal, there was ALWAYS someone having their dog do their business!! Gross! Right up and close to our coach! No Doggie park!! How ever there is a park next door to the RV park. But no one used it. We were guests for 2 weeks. The lawn never got watered, what lawn that was left, till the last 2 days we were there. So you couldn’t open any window at night. Smell🤢. I noticed most that used the park were full time residents and had lawn right next to their door. But they don’t want that right out side their home. Nay Nay, let’s use the space that is used by traveling RV’ers to make their stay more enjoyable. We had asked for this space for the parking we needed and had look at their map to make sure we were not close to a doggie dump. It was not mark on their map as a doggie sand box. If we return I would hope not to get this space. I would rather put up with the temporary cages from the RV next to us with the yapping dogs. Rude.

Got to visit
Just off the I5 this site offers full hook ups and all pitch’s are large and flat, there are three wash rooms which are kept clean thought out the day, there is a gym and in door pool, walking distance to Walmart and several shops. Good Sam discount was taken over by the local tax’s, we paid $40 per night, well worth the stop over.
