Home away from home
Ada is truly the place you want to be, my husband and me just spent 5 days of relaxation on the most beautiful lake front, spectacular mountain views,we booked the cabin called the roost , enjoyed our full kitchen and comfy beds , kinda like being at grandma's cabin ,upon our arrival the new owners welcomed us with open arms very heartfelt, they were there to help us with all our needs for our comfort as they were working on their outside projects trying to bring the camp back to its old pristine self , new dock already installed for your big catches,,mine was 18 inch trout , hurry and book your spot ,,we all deserve serenity,,,, 😀 😊

Great kayak launch
Our kayaking group launches from Ada Fishing Resort often. The hosts offer great solid advice due to wind conditions and water levels. They greet us like old friends. For a unique experience up Fiddle Creek, beyond the trestle or up into Booth Arm, give this a try.

Delightful camping and kayaking!
A friend and I camped here to be easily ready for kayaking with a group of paddlers coming and launching early the next morning. Both camping and kayaking were delightful and lovely. The hosts were warm, gracious, and helpful, and our group followed their advice by kayaking the beautiful Booth arm plus around a nearby island. Fiddle Creek is nearby and would also be nice to kayak up. The accommodations are simple, but everything you'd ever want to be very comfortable is provided. The stars were glorious. This is a very pretty, away from the crowds spot on Siltcoos Lake. Perfect for kayakers or others wanting a serene and beautiful place.

Gone to heck
We just took a ride out to check this place out, again. Store closed, laundry room closed and judging from the looks of the trailers there, now an upscale homeless site. We would not feel safe staying there. It now looks like a dump and truly sad as in its glory days was beautiful.

A Welcome Sight!
We got lost looking for Ada. We ended up wondering where we were and did not have enough cell coverage to know- we were. We were lost! Then we saw the sign for the Ada Fishing Resort and its "general store." We made a bee-line to it, and were greeted by the owner who was totally gracious and friendly. We gave us directions back to Florence, we bought plenty of the peanut butter crackers he had for our lunch and we were all the better for the surprising turn of events.
