Wonderful family get away
The resort was very nice and accommodating with many swimming pools, hot tubs, golf, playgrounds, eateries and the home we rented was well equipped for a family of 6

Large rooms are shabby and badly in need of renovation
Although the public areas in the resort are newer and lovely, and the views are spectacular, Lodge room, 40 (and probably all the lodge rooms) has stained and dirty carpets that are wrinkled and almost a trip hazard, and the bathroom looks like it hasn’t been updated in about 30 years or more. There’s even mold in the shower. Although the photo is real, it gives an entirely different impression. They must’ve used very strong lights to take the photo because the room feels much more dark and dingy. It is sad because I’ve been coming here for decades and it has just run downhill.

Will not come back again.
Stayed from 6/27/25 to 6/29/25. Facilities around the ranch are in good condition, specially the lake side pool. Awesome. Big meadow golf course was beautiful. The restaurants around the property close very early, 8 pm which seems odd specially for summer. The website and app are awful and clunky, we actually had an easier time using the old school map to find things around the ranch. The lodge room we stayed at was disgusting and the absolute bare to be called a room. The cable also didn't work. The tv was the size of Michael Scott's in the office. Filthy carpets, filthy bedding, unpatched holes in walls. Will never stay here again, specially for $700.

A Hotel 6 would be better than this.
Other than a lovely view, there is nothing good to say about this place. Our reservation at a hot springs was canceled due to wildfire, so this was a last minute alternative. Over $300 a night for a totally dirty and crappy room. minifridge has the door on the wrong way, so difficult to open. There was microwave, but no silverware or plates (not even paper). The food was way over priced and not very good. The "nature trail" was less than .5 mile.
