    A surprising find!!!

This place was a remarkable little hotel!!! Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, the room is quite comfortable and roomy. The shower was fantastic!! A walk-in with plenty of room and attractive ceramic tile, the water pressure coming out of the rain showerhead made this one of the best showers in any hotel we've experienced. The price was fantastic and the receptionist very friendly and accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again!!!

    A Very Good Value

Certainly not fancy, but the price is right and the place is very quiet and comfortable. It is far enough from main street to minimize traffic noise AND the heat is electric baseboard, not those damnable heat/AC units that noisily blow cold air and cycle all night! We were impressed at how clean the room was, with no lingering cleaning solution smell. Later in our trip we paid the same for a room in Madras, OR and this deserves a much higher rating. (Unlike the Madras place, this had a mirror in the bathroom, hot water and a place to hang clothes!) The manager was extremely friendly to us, taking care of the paperwork promptly. We would stay here again without hesitation.

    Would stay again--we did!

Central location but very quiet--can't hear traffic on Hwy 101. Clean and comfy. Fabulous shower!!! Gracious proprietor. 2-bedroom unit was perfect for our family of 3. We stayed here overnight prior to a jet boat trip to an upriver lodge, and decided to stay here again after we came back downriver.

    Actually a 3-Plus

While this is a very basic hotel, it's a cut above most of them. The exterior is charming, orderly and well-maintained, with cute planters and marked parking spaces. This is a small property--maybe 12 rooms. It doesn't have that dingy, beat-up look of many 2 or 3 star motels. It's apparent that there's been recent renovation- new toilet, sink and shower in the tiny bathroom--all very clean! Nice tile floor and a touch of tile above the sink, but not luxurious. It's functional and charming. There's a large dresser, big screen TV, fridge, microwave and Keurig coffeemaker. No lotion provided, but soap and shampoo. There's no hair dryer. Again-this is VERY comfortable and clean and pleasant without the frills. It's only a few minutes to walk or drive the the beach. About the mattress: some people will love it. It's a memory foam style. I, personally, prefer the firm mattresses of most European hotels, but I'm told that the mem/foam style is popular so.... This is a good value.

    Dated, but clean

Very dated, but well kept and clean. The bed was actually very comfortable with good quality pillows. Bathroom was also clean, but really needs to be updated. I brought my own hair dryer but was unable to use it in the bathroom as the outlet was in the light fixture and was the old 2 prong deal so wouldn't work with my modern dryer. Good value if you are passing through and not looking for someplace to hang out.
