This place has a problem
We stayed one night here in our way south and - the day we arrived - read a previous review that mentioned finding maggots in his room. (It was too late to cancel our booking at this stage.) I regret to say we found maggots around the plug in our basin on arrival too. Really disgusting and gave me the heebie geebies! We ran them down the drain with a lot of very hot water and didn’t see any more during our stay, but that’s not the point. I pulled out the sink plug and it was filthy. They really need to do something about that. It’s completely unacceptable. We were very uncomfortable staying there after that, and definitely would not recommend.

Great stay in Brookings
Nice motel next to Hwy 101. Rooms are fairly small but very adequate. It had a good size mini fridge to store our food. We were pleasantly surprised we could see the ocean from our second floor room. The motel does not offer any free breakfast but there is a McDonald’s just down the street. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay for one night to visit some family.

Great customer service!
Although we ultimately needed to cancel our booking here, it was absolutely a pleasure dealing with the front desk. Kind, considerate, and went out of their way to be accommodating. Thank you so much and we’ll see you next time!

Songrosse
There is long black hairs on the toilet and tub. There are maggots under the tv remote and phone. No answer on office phone and locked up dark.

18 day road trip in Oregon
We stayed here for three nights. Motel style accommodation on two floors. Ask for the upper floor as these have sea views. Rooms also have a safe. There was no daily housekeeping, unless requested, despite being advertised on the website. No coffee, free breakfast and other services available as the reception area was being revamped. It was a scruffy and unwelcoming area that could have been presented better. We would definitely recommend the Khun Thai restaurant across the road. Excellent food.
