Our room over looked the river and was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is a nice path along the river to walk to Autzen stadium for Duck games. Sweet Waters food and service could have been better.

The Valley River never disappoints. Room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The check in was smooth and very pleasant . Had a really tasty duck dinner with great service at Sweetwaters restaurant which is part of the hotel. Absolutely not even the smallest detail to complain about, highly recommended.

Great location!
What a wonderful dog-friendly hotel! Right on the river, it’s a beautiful and relaxing setting—and Cooper made so many friends during our stay that I think he should be the official doggie mascot! 🐾 The service was fantastic, the patrons were lovely, and the restaurant was excellent. If you stay here, the river rooms are a must. We especially loved sitting on the patio on the ground floor, listening to the rain and enjoying the peaceful river setting. A truly wonderful place to stay, especially if you’re traveling with your four-legged friend. We loved it!

Great property with uncomfortable beds
Valley River Inn is a great placed to stay, very well located and easy to get to but for the price you pay, they could have decent beds. They are very uncomfortable.

Excellent hotel, location, activities and more
This was our First stay at the Valley River Inn. We would stay here again if we find ourselves in Eugene. This hotel is updated and clean. The Inn is located walking distance to several large chain restaurants and a small mall. We did not eat at the nice restaurant at the hotel which has a great setting on the river. Speaking of river the hotel is located right on a great concrete trail system that is a pretty setting for biking, walking and jogging. The hotel has a couple of bikes you can check out to ride on the trail system. If those bikes arent available there are some along the trail you can "rent". IT is really a great trail that has some very pretty views and critter watching. Beyond the setting the hotel has a GREAT outdoor pool, larger than most chains and a great pool deck with nice ounge chairs umbrellas and nice pool towels. It is a seasonal pool since it is outdoors but if you are in Eugene in the warm months this is the pool to be at. Additionally the hotel has a nice updated gym with very nice equipment. We will stay here again in the summer if we are in town, great expierence.
