We booked 3 nights at this place for our 19th wedding anniversary. When we got to our room, there was a HUGE black stain in the middle of the carpet. There were no air conditioning units built into the room--just a tall oscillating fan that could be plugged in. After our first night, we went out to see the local sights and came back after 8 hours to find the room had not been serviced at all. Beds were unmade, trash cans still piled high, and the dead towels were still lying on the floor of the shower and bathroom. No replacements were given. I called the office to complain, and the girl brought new towels and took the old ones away. We had to dump our own garbage. So we decided to cancel our 3rd night with them and go somewhere else. Management had the discretion to refund us our cancellation fee. But they never got back to us. They told us we needed to contact Booking.com to get our last night refunded. The AI at Booking.com told us we had to contact the motel management. Big runaround. I'm giving this place 1 star, because there were no negative stars to award. Do not stay here. Avoid at all costs!

Just don’t …..
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Room key didn’t work initially -so given another room. Room given reeked of cigarette smoke. Attempted to call the front desk and phone didn’t work. I asked about a non smoking room and was told they were all non smoking but people smoked in them anyhow and they had no control. Settled in to watch TV and remote turned TV on but didn’t work on changing any channels. Breakfast was laughable-didn’t see anything out. When I advised the reception lady about our issues she shrugged. Area is sketchy so had to be back before dark. Room is old and dingy. Bathroom initially appeared clean but there was debris behind the door. Save yourself the ick-pay a bit more and find something better.

NO AIR CONDITIONING. RUDE.
Rude staff. I called when I checked in as to how to turn on air conditioned. It was 100 degrees in that room. They don't have air conditioning. Their argument was that they didn't list it as an "amenity." WTH? When did AC become an amenity for any decent hotel in a civilized community? They really don't offer breakfast either. Or have people at the desk in the morning. Very noisy as next to highway 101.

We were on a multi night road trip and this was definitely the low point in our hotels for the trip. The lighting was all the cool white fluorescent and made it seem like a prison. We did not sleep well due to an overall uneasy feeling and were happy to leave. We were told that there was a complementary breakfast, but when we went to check it out, it turned out. It was four oranges, one and a handful of chewy granola bars. The area overall was kind of sketchy, and there were a lot of interesting people wandering through the parking lot. I was going to utilize the laundry, but didn’t feel comfortable being out of my room after dark.

Poor
The location is the center of town on 101 and it’s easily walkable to restaurants. I am writing this review because of the inflated weekend rate we were charged. The rate was 100% (or more) inflated because of activities in the area. It was unfair and unreasonable for the service we received from this motel. The room smelled heavily perfumed when we first walked in but as the day turned into evening, a smell of pet urine odor permeated from the old dirty carpet. Upon inspection I found a pet stain near the door, a pet stain near the corner of the bed, and a pet stain near the nightstand of the bed. These were repeated pet stains, impossible to get out of the carpet. There were also food crumbs at the base of the beds which made me fearful of what could be under the bed!!! So the room was not vacuumed before we took residence for the evening. The bathroom mirror was smeared and looked as if it was wiped with a towel only, so I ensured the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was heavy mold at the base of the back wall of the walk-in shower. The shower curtain was frayed at the bottom. The walls are thin. The following morning, there was a domestic incident in the room next door to us which prompted us to call the hotel manager. This was a very alarming and disturbing incident which made us feel very uncomfortable. Management assured us that the situation was taken care of. I read a recent previous review of a similar incident that the police were called. I would have felt very unsafe if I stayed there alone. I did not engage in the breakfast offerings. I left as soon as I could. I recommend staying somewhere else.
