Our plans changed at last minute, and we needed to find a pet friendly motel in k falls. Bryon, the staff was absolutely amazing, friendly, and welcoming to my husband and me and our dog Roxy! The place was spotless, inviting, and we felt safe and at home. It was also a great surprise to discover there was a kitchen included. Bryan was up and about when we left early in the morning and wished us safe travels to pick up our new puppy in Heppner Oregon. We will be back and thank you for wonderful hospitality!! Fantastic sleeper hit of a motel
This is now the fourth or fifth time I’ve stayed at this excellent, family-owned motel. Totally unprepossessing from the outside, the Townhouse boasts spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms with a much higher level of fit and finish than the price point would lead you to expect. Rooms are large, and the kitchenettes — while only very lightly outfitted, in terms of dishes, etc. — make it easy to save money and eat in. The owners clearly take pride in their establishment, and this shines through in every detail. I wouldn’t stay anyplace else in K falls. Thumbs up to Byron, the holiday manager, for excellent service thoroughly up to the standards of the owners.
awesome customer service, the front desk was very sweet, friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, comfortable and a great deal for the price. Would definitely recommend staying if in town and would stay again
Surprise! You’re Gonna Love It!
I would approximate 300 nights of my year I sleep in hotel rooms. We travel for work and we travel with our cat. What I look for when searching for our next temporary home away from home is a clean hotel, with plenty amenities, close to shopping, preferably with a kitchen and absolutely must welcome Tuck - the previously mentioned cat. All of these things must fit within our budget and the lower our rates, the money in our account. You may have noticed I say “hotel” and not “motel”. Let’s face it, motels have a reputation for being less desirable and as someone who is constantly searching properties, they have earned that reputation fair and square. I admit I am proud of my Titanium Elite BonVoy status and plan to keep it. Then we are sent to Klamath Falls, OR. There are three hotels in town. None want Tuck and while they might have pools and free eggs, they don’t have kitchens. Over and over I see 5 star reviews for Townhouse Motel. That cannot be right. They’re right off 6th Street sandwiched between a Taco Bell and a barber shop that seems to never be open. My husband arrived in town before I and I sent him to check it out. He thought it was nice and negotiated a fair price for a couple month stay. When I joined him I initially refused to stay here. After all the last place was a one bedroom with a nicely equipped kitchen, large desk in its own space by the window, sofa made for relaxing, saltwater pool, breakfast every morning and dinner gatherings with beer and wine three times a week - the works. Fast forward to the next day. I notice how large this kitchen is. I can COOK in here. I had slept well the night before, the bed was very comfortable. The room has a comfortable recliner. I begin to notice how much work has gone into the property to bring it up to date. Tiled bathroom, new interior and exterior paint, clean parking lot. You should know I haven’t seen any rooms that look like the ones in photos with 70’s linoleum and panel walls. There’s nothing sketchy going on here. It’s actually perfect for our needs. There are other guests like us, on the road for work. People on vacation or traveling for the holidays. It’s a small enough property that if staying a while you can get to know the staff, other guests, and the owners of the motel who live on site. Which by the way, is also nice. When spending so much on rooms throughout the year it feels right seeing that money go to the advancement of a family instead of a corporation. Townhouse Motel has put a lot of effort into making this a place you will want to stay, give them an opportunity to show you.
Staying here was the best thing I ever done! Love this place like home. Never felt more at home than I have here. I'm so grateful to Raj and Pinky for everything and making it feel like home. Life's journey brought me here and you guys made it even better!
