Lasagna, King of the Food Court!
The Italian food offerings, were wonderful. Large and flavorful, and the Lasagna, was one of the best I have ever consumed. Piled high, steamy hot, lots of tomato sauce, meaty, and cheezy, leaves me wishing for more. My sister-in-law, had the Spaghetti and meat balls, and commented, it also was a winner. My wife, Kathleen, enjoyed the Salad Bar, and said, the Shrimp was fresh, and plentiful. Perhaps, one of the best compact Salad bars she's ever sampled. If we ever get to travel again, the Oregon Coast, we will pick up, where we left off, the Food Court, to visit King Lasagna, and his other marvelous subjects.
Stayed here on business because the price was good. I was very impressed with the hotel rooms. All non smoking very clean and welcoming. Sliding glass doors I think on all the rooms with a step out deck. TV, microwave, Keurig. Wish I would have taken pictures. Would stay again.
Just don't eat there!
Nice Casino. Friendly staff. Clean and modern. Just DON'T eat there. They replaced a mediocre buffet with the worlds worst food court. Restaurants inside are OK to good, but the new food court offerings are just awful, or burned, or stale, or flavorless. Try Blue Bills if you are starving.Just stay away from the Food Court.
Don’t sit too close to roulette
We’ve been visiting Three Rivers more often lately as we have traveled to the Oregon Coast. In our last two visits we have seen the ball launch out of the roulette wheel at least three times. On this particular visit (today, for Mother’s Day) the ball flew out of the wheel and hit me directly in the left ear. I was sitting closest to the wheel and it hit me with significant force. I was stunned as it hurt pretty badly. I made a few comments about how it hurt and if I could at the very least get a complimentary drink and was dismissed by the staff. Be very aware if you are sitting anywhere near the roulette table.
Get a players card!
Our reservation went from 129/nt to 99/nt just by getting a players card. We didn't play enough to get our free $10 play but it's still a better rate. Room was large. Smoking area was larger than non-smoking so we didn't play much. We drove out and ate at Mo's then called it a night. Nothing else to do in Florence but we got a good hotel for cheap so I'm happy!
