A wonderful ocean view inn at the South end of town at Tolovana Park. Enjoy ocean view rooms, gas fireplaces, kitchens, free Wi-Fi, decks, easy beach access, and indoor pool and spa. The inn has many dog friendly rooms and accepts dogs of all sizes. The spacious one and two bedroom suites with full kitchens are great for families.

Went to stay for the first time .Let me tell you the price is right reasonable .Place is clean .Only downside is the bathroom is too small. Grocery store is just walking distance . We will be back soon

Fun at the beach!
Cute comfy room w/2 queen beds that share a room. Had everything needed for a 2 night stay. Just across the park from the ocean, across the street from a FABULOUS market (I bought a chicken street taco kit for a mere $12 that fed 2 plus leftovers! & a small bottle of a blended white wine for $4!!) Walkable to Mo's -one of my favorite restaurants in CB! Front desk team very kind & friendly-esp David!!

Cutest Inn!!
We absolutely loved our stay at The Wayside Inn. The location was perfect, we could walk right across to the beach and we passed so many cute bunnies on the way. The atmosphere of the Inn is so cozy with fireplaces in the rooms and it was very clean and quiet. There is also a convenient store next door which was handy. Great stay, would highly recommend.

Phenomenal small Hotel
Always stay here . Phenomenal small hotel with the best beds and cleanest rooms you will ever see, and most with awesome ocean views. Throw in a nice pool and hot tub, and very fair rates for Cannon Beach, this is as close to a no brainer as you will ever get. You simply can't get any better. The staff is great and the manager Erin has been here a long time and will insure the best possible stay. And one more thing the hotel is in the best part of town, the south end, a little less hectic and wide expanse of one of the best beaches in the world.

A Hidden Gem
Sometimes its nice to try a hotel thats not affiliated with any large chain. The Wayside was across the road from the ocean in Cannon Beach. On arrival there were fresh chocolate chip cookies for incoming guests. Hotel has no elevator - and three floors so stairs are mandatory. In a throwback to better days we were handed actual keys to the room door. Our room was equipped with a full kitchen and all utensils....Not large but everything needed was there. Room had a sitting area and a balcony the looked across the road to the ocean. Bedroom was euipped with needed two beds and they were very comfortable. Also nice that it had two bathrooms as well. Following morning at check out they also had various varieties of energy bars to get you started on your day. Would I return? Absolutely - given the cost of some of the hotels at the beach the Wayside offered the best for an acceptable cost.
