A wonderful ocean view inn at the South end of town at Tolovana Park. Enjoy ocean view rooms, gas fireplaces, kitchens, free Wi-Fi, decks, easy beach access, and indoor pool and spa. The inn has many dog friendly rooms and accepts dogs of all sizes. The spacious one and two bedroom suites with full kitchens are great for families.

A perfect place to stay in Cannon Brach that is dog friendly

Had a fabulous stay. The hotel is nicely done w updated furniture. Love having both a large hot tub and a pool. Nice location south of town but right across from the beach, which was great for long walks.. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Sweet pet basket filled w special towels for our pup and water/food bowls… plus dog treats. A nice touch. We really appreciate places where we can bring our dog with us. We will most definitely return to stay here again.

Nice Room with Balcony

Our first night in Oregon involved almost getting stuck in a snow storm while driving from Portland to Cannon Beach. The hotel was kind enough to call us when we weren’t checking in yet. They assured us we’d be able to get into our room no matter what time we arrived. Our room was #207. It had a balcony looking out to the Pacific. My 4 star vs 5 star review is because the view was not as close to the water as I thought. There is a road (not very busy) and a parking lot for a park in between. Setting you quite a ways back. Another negative is there is no elevator. It was a hassle getting our two heavy suitcases to our room. But the room was great. It had a fireplace, microwave, small fridge, etc. The bathroom (toilet & shower) is very small but fine. The room was very clean. The 2 queens were comfortable although we only used the one close to the balcony. It had a nice pillow top and was very comfortable. It’s a very dog friendly place too.

wonderful place to stay

We stayed at the Wayside for 2 nights in late February. The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating The room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean (King Suite). We made good use of the fireplace and it was so cozy on the winter nights. We were thrilled to have the oven and on a snowy night we made take n' bake pizza that we bought at the grocery store that is conveniently located just across the street. The ocean is literally across the street and there is tons of parking available at the beach front. We walked the beach down to Haystack rock several times, it is not a far walk and you have an unobstructed view as soon as you set foot on the beach across the street from the Inn. This inn was the perfect place for our stay and we can't wait to visit again! HIGHLY recommend.

Relaxing overnight getaway at the coast

Really great little hotel. Super pet friendly. Right across the street from the beach, with tremendous views of the coast, Haystack rock, etc. Clean and cozy. The hot tub was a nice treat during a chilly February weekend. Also nice to have a couple restaurants and the market (which was incredibly well-stocked) within a very short walk. Loved our stay and would certainly come back.

Wonderful trip

This place is wonderful. Very nice, 1 bedroom. Wonderful location right outside the city strip of Cannon Beach. So quiet, awesome pool and the LOVE our pets!! Highly recommend. Our fireplace crapped out and they got the "fireplace guy" to come within an hour on New Years Day!
