Very good experience at the grand hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. We did not try the free breakfast so I can’t comment on that. The mattress was pretty comfortable and we did sleep fairly well despite a lot of traffic noise. The elevators seem a little unsafe lol. They make funny noises and rattle around a lot. I tried to think of it as old and charming and not so much scary. We will stay here again!

I stayed at the Grand Hotel for a business conference and was greeted by the very friendly front desk staff. My room was on the 5th floor. My stay was pleasant and didn't have any issues that needed extra attention. I was able to work at the desk in between sessions. The exterior streets do get noisy and my hotel room did have a white noise machine that helped keep the noise street at bay. The location is near a park that was nice to walk to during the morning.

Friendly front desk staff allowed for early check in. Spacious attractive foyer and common areas. Comfortable room of reasonable size. Nice friendly happy hour in restaurant. Convenient onsite parking.

LOVE the Grand in Salem!
LOVE the Grand in Salem!! It’s centrally located, the room was nice and clean, customer service was on point, the parking was so convenient and the complimentary breakfast was delicious - this property has it all!!
