More than a hotel - community and heart!
Our school group had a last minute cancellation, and Jay was amazingly able to accommodate 33 middle school kids and four chaperones. We could not have been happier or felt luckier to be taken care of by the Columbia. The rooms were perfect with their bunk beds and murals, the common areas were fantastic for holding reflection times or just chilling with games. Everyone loved it, and Jay and her crew were the kindest souls going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and looked after. So much gratitude to have found this wonderful downtown gem in Ashland, steps from OSF, and with so much positivity and community spirit.

The hotel is stylish and has an excellent location right downtown to walk to all the great restaurants and the theater. The vibe is a little hostelish which is fun, there's cool common space with free coffee and snacks. My rating would be higher if they spent a little money on some appropriate bedding for the king bed, the fitted sheet on ours was so thin it was transparent and the top sheet was clearly polyblend. They still had winter weight blankets/comforter on the bed which was also unpleasant. And lastly the room cooling needs to be more efficient and less loud.

Hotel with charisma and charm
My husband & I won an evening at The Columbia Hotel in Ashland, Oregon last year and stayed this past weekend! It is a treasure for locals & travelers. They offer rooms for everyone’s needs. Stylized with unique furniture & comfortable bedding, with ambiance and warmth. Preserved details from the original building gives it a classic feel mixed with contemporary additions to give it a fun flare. We had the best time being within walking distance from so many great restaurants, the movie theater and ice-cream! I hope you check them out sometime, you will be greeted by the charming & hospitable owner if you are lucky! Thank you for the fantastic stay!

Consistently Cool. Another great stay at the Columbia
The Columbia is my go-to when visiting Ashland, so much so that I have lost count of how many times I have stayed. The beds are so comfortable a good night's sleep is guaranteed. I love the snacks and coffee in the morning and the art is always so cool. Thank you (again) for a fantastic stay, we will be back soon!
