This place is in trouble. Hopefully it's on its way up, but it's at a bottom now. The unit we stayed in was not satisfactory. The floor was falling apart, there was rot in the bathroom, and the place was dirty. If there had been any other places to stay in short order, we would have declined to stay there. When we first got there, my wife needed to use the facilities. She discovered there was no soap in the unit. I walked over to the office and the person working there (owner? Manager?) was walking around the parking lot talking on his phone. I finally got his attention and told him there was no soap in the unit. He said the soap shipment was delayed because of the wild fires. They could have walked next door and gotten a couple bars from the market. So I stood there for a minute, and he said "What do you need the soap for?" Really?! I said, for showers and washing hands after using the restroom, etc. He went inside and got me a bottle of soft soap. It was all very strange. I hope this place can haul itself up and survive. But I won't stay there again until it's been rejuvenated

Do not book here! The room was disgusting, musty and there was a HOLE in the floor of the bathroom. We left and ended up booking a room elsewhere within 20 minutes. The staff did not seem to care. $375 for a disgusting literally rotting room is awful

Absolutely disgusting do not stay
Absolutely do not stay at this place. It is disgusting and no staff on site. No help of any did not refund my money when we could not stay there. I had to drive an hour at midnight to another hotel. Do not do not stay here. Dirty clothes, no sheets for the sleeper sofa that had blood stains and crumbs. I have pictures. I have proof of everything and they are still charging me.

The property needs an upgrade! In my particular room (#11), the bathroom was had spots of spackle, waiting for paint. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was missing and there was no soap at the sink, only body lotion! Difficult to discover after 10:00pm! Check in was cutoff at 7:00pm! A confirmation text came from Fusion, no idea who that was? The bed was comfortable and clean.

Beware !!! Scam Alert !!
Wish there was a zero rating. Arrived around 30 minutes after check in time after driving 1,000 miles from California with family only to find out my email booking confirmation through this hotel's website (which I showed to the clerk) meant nothing. "Sorry, you don't have a reservation or confirmation, can't help you, we are totally booked, but look at the bright side, your credit card won't be charged," said the clerk in the shabby dirty hotel office that reeked of pot smoke. I missed attending my class reunion since there were no lodging available in nearby places I had to travel north to Seaside, then ended up in Portland to spend the night. Do yourself a favor and don't even try to stay here. This place is a scam, place does not look at all like the images. Don't make the mistake I made....stay away from this Bates Motel.
