Super 8 by Wyndham (formerly The Old Town Inn) is just steps from Historic Old Town Florence and the beautiful Siuslaw River. Lodging is widely known for being impeccably clean and has a friendly, helpful staff. Within minutes you can be fishing on the river, walking uncrowded ocean beaches, playing at championship golf courses, zooming around Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area on a dune buggy, or hiking and playing in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world. Sorry, no pets.

Your everyday average Super 8 by Wyndham. Clean and decent, but nothing outstanding. Beds were very comfortable, with just the right amount of bedding, at least for me. The hot water was hot. The toilet was handicap height, which some people appreciate and some won’t. We were able to park right in front of our room. There were two double EV charging stations. Three of the ports were for Tesla one was for other kinds of vehicles. Tv, fridge, microwave, coffee maker in room. One chair and one rolling chair, desk. Only one USB port in the room. Busy tourist area, so prices are relatively high. Breakfast was grab and go: bananas, tangerines, packaged muffins, packaged oatmeal, orange juice, apple juice, and coffee. No seating – take it back to your room, or just leave. Full disclosure: I paid for this room with Wyndham rewards points.

We stayed here for three nights. Very pleasant motel style accommodation. The refreshed room was clean and freshly painted with new towels and pillows. No pets allowed, which was much appreciated. No housekeeping but you could ask and collect new towels etc from reception. Coffee and breakfast items were available from reception to eat in your room. All the staff very friendly and helpful and we would recommend staying here. It was so lovely being able to saunter into old Florence town to eat at night.

Nice Little Respite
Great little surfer vibe motel. Great location. Close to water. No AC so sleep with windows open. Traffic noise not bad if you use the white noise machine in the room. Bikers leaving at 5:30 a.m. were hard to mask with white noise.

Impressive Super8. So clean & comfortable. The modern furnishings were appreciated. Spacious room. Ideal position to go out in the evening. (Couple mins walk) Friendly staff. Parking included just off US 101 great location to get to. Perfect stay for Florence.
