Shearwater Inn- my go-to place on the coast. Easy access to the beach, the hotel is relaxed and friendly. My room was sparkling clean, I loved the fireplace and balcony with sunset views of the ocean. The tub in the bathroom was a bonus. There's a microwave and fridge in the room, coffee and tea in room and in the lobby. One of the best things about this hotel is the staff and main lobby. You have to go thru the lobby to get to the elevator and rooms, which feels safer than rooms that open directly outside, especially as a solo traveler. Mike, Jessica and Jenna made me feel welcomed and had great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area.

Maybe the best Hotel in Lincoln City area
Shearwater is located right in the middle of everything Lincoln City. Walking in the front door you can feel a calmness and comfortable setting. Check in was so easy. Our room was 5th floor, highest floor, king suite. WOW!!!View was incredible. Room was super, super clean. And had everything, tv, nice fireplace, king bed facing the ocean, work table, 2 comfortable cushioned chairs, and 2 chairs on the balcony, which faced the ocean. Very quiet and it seemed like we were the only ones there but hotel was almost full seeing all the cars. Parking is easy. When we got to our room, we filled out our breakfast order and dropped it off at front desk. They brought breakfast to our room at the time we asked for, 8:30. You have choice of bagel, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, milk and orange juice,toast. There is coffee in the room. We will definitely stay at the Shearwater again.

Good location if you want to take a beautiful walk on the beach---NO ONE in the lobby until 8 am.... Not great if you want to get on the road early...Had two loads of luggage and almost got locked out of the bldg... ie key card worked once but not the second time

What's not to love
Have stayed here multiple times now with my little dog and just love it. EZ access to beach. Great restaurant next door. Wonderful staff. Clean. Reasonable pricing.
