Lovely trip

Absolutely love staying at the shearwater. Michael was super kind and helpful at check in . Love the central location, and the size of the rooms. Great views, clean large rooms, and they have everything in them to be able to cook meals if you’re not the going out to dinner type. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Very Firm bed

We visit Oregon coast twice a year for past 15 years. Here are my pros and cons. PRO: Very Clean, updated, great view, fireplace, walking distance to beach, close to town, nice management. CONS: Very hard bed, located on main road so it noisy. We have stayed here a few times over the years but this time bed was so hard my body hurt. Other than that Shearwater had reasonably prices, clean and updated. Good choice.

Great place

The location was great. Staff was nice and helpful. We loved the fire place. Continental breakfast delivered to the room was nice (standard continental options), the fireplace was lovely and being able to see/hear the ocean was great and just what we needed. The only negative for us was the bed was hard. We normally sleep is a soft bed so that's a preference thing. Parking is a little rough for bigger vehicles. Walking distance to the beach and Kyllos. Overall it was a great stay.

Great View and Accommodations

We enjoyed our time at the hotel, but sadly we had to cut our trip short. Everyone was friendly and helpful, we would definitely go back again. Our room had a full kitchen and a wonderful view of the ocean. Located close to restaurants and easy access to the beach. 😊

Not as good as it use to be.

We hadn’t stayed here for a few years. To our surprise the room didn’t provide a keurig. Isn’t that pretty standard in nicer hotels? Really, they need to upgrade from their old fashioned coffee pots. The delivered breakfast is a nice feature, but not as many choices as in the past and for that reason it was a disappointment. Nice view. Nice robes. Nice fireplace.
