The Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock hits many homeruns!

Kathy and the staff here are amazing!! It's so hard nowadays to find genuine caring people who will go out of their way to assure you are taken care of. The staff here went above and beyond. The rooms are extremely clean, with a full kitchen, front ocean views, along with being a very private and quiet experience during our stay here. We're regulars coming around 4-5 times a year to Cannon Beach from Seattle and will only stay at Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock if they have rooms available. Thanks again Sea Sprite staff!

Great for a special occasion trip!

We stayed here on a rainy weekend in early November for a birthday celebration. The place has an unobstructed view of Haystack rock and easy access to the beach. I liked that it was away from the main town of Cannon beach (a 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk on the beach) but close enough to be able to explore. They were able to do a PNW-themed gift basket for my partner's birthday. Overall, a great place and I'd stay here again.

Great stay on the beach

We had the 2-bedroom cabin for 3 nights and the location right on the beach is great, the cabin is well equipped. The view of the beach and Haystack Rock is incredible. We were there during Covid so we rented Cabin 5 to have a full kitchen and plenty of room for meals. The view of the beach is great! Housekeeping brought us fresh towels, including kitchen towels, every day. So many towels! The kitchen was especially well equipped and has a lot of pans, pots, baking dishes, utensils, the works. The bed was comfortable. Wifi was reliable for work and zoom meetings. This was a short walk along the beach to Fresh Foods, a good grocery store. We were very glad we stayed here.

Cozy 2 Bedroom cottage with partial ocean view, one minute walk to beach with a great view of Haystack Rock

The cottage is directly across from the office. It has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a living room and kitchen. The kitchen would benefit from some additional cookware and supplies. It would be perfect for two couples or a family with children. The onsite manager was very helpful.

So wonderful

I loved this hotel. We had a private balcony with ocean views. Full ocean view from the room. Everything was so clean and nice. I wanted to stay forever. Location is lovely, but you will have to drive to town unless you are up for a really long walk on the beach. Grocery store nearby and a few restaurants (but none of the best ones).
