Comfortable and roomy
Easy check in, nice size room, great bedding and bed, very good breakfast for hotel breakfast. The carpeting was a little frayed and old. A couple items in our room needed dusting. All aid, we would definitely stay there again.
Inebriated Desk Attendant and Billing Errors!
As a lifetime titanium member, I did not expect to find an inebriated, in attentive desk attendant who made suggestive overtures at me upon arrival. She also completely disregarded my status and incorrectly entered my information so that, on the following day, I was charged significantly more than I should’ve been. Admittedly, I did get a response from the general manager the next day expressing his disappointment from his staff, and reimbursing me for my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, but the experience was definitely memorable in my two decade experience with Marriott properties.
Comfortable room. Meh breakfast.
We were in room 306. Quite a walk from the elevator. The room was comfortable for a one night stay. Had a mini kitchen and a small sitting area and bedroom. The downside was the breakfast. The oatmeal was gummy. The scrambled eggs weren't bad. No waffles. No cereal. If the breakfast had been better might have given a better rating. We are Titanium Marriott members and they did not have a upgrade for us.
Great hotel. Front desk staff is very helpful. Located close to the highway. Rooms are loud on the highway side, but I got used to it after a bit. I’d stay here again if I was in the area. Grocery store Isn’t close (not walking distance) but not far by car.
Absolutely worth staying at!
We stayed overnight on August 26, 2020. I had stayed at this hotel previously and knew it was a quiet convenient location. Nina Frolov was on duty at the front desk when we arrived. Our check in was fast, efficient, and we were given a king studio on the 3rd floor. Because if the Covid environment we were advised that the normal RI breakfast was not being offered and a “Grab n Go” meal would be offered in the morning. The Room: the room on the backside of the hotel offered a view of open space and a lot of privacy, which allowed us to keep light into the room. The bed was VERY comfortable. The room was spacious with a big usual window work table and outlets everywhere. The kitchen was also substantial and everything was clean and impressive. There is a big refrigerator, a dishwasher, and microwave. Everything you need to be very comfortable. The TV did not connect to a signal. A little disappointing. Nina came to the room and did her best to get me connected but w no success (it was already evening when we arrived). She worked so hard to help us, but this was not her specialty, and I was just very appreciative of the extraordinary effort she made to help us. She did offer to make up for this inconvenience that made us very happy. I will say that the staff of Residence Inn was outstanding to a person during our stay. Again, thank you Nina Frolov - you made a difference to a traveler that has been around the world and stayed in many countries and hotels. I know the difference between a good employee and a great one ( and I don’t hesitate to point out poor performances either). I will also comment that Costco (w gas) is a 2 minute drive, as well as several decent fast food restaurants, and more. The hotel is less than a 3 minute drive off highway 5 in a quiet location. Lots of parking was available. I wish you the best in your travels ahead. My reviews are a pure intent to leave a good footprint behind for those behind me.
