Beautiful Property with Poor Management
The room was very nice. I stayed 6 nights which I had prepaid. This property is frequented by guests that stay up until early morning playing loud music and pacing the floors. I mentioned my concerns after the first night to management and was told that the problem would be addressed. This continued for the remainder of my stay. I then switched to another hotel for the remainder of my visit. When I inquired about this property I was told that this hotel attracts guests that tend to indulge in late night activities. This is unfortunate as it is clear that the property has undergone renovations that would make it a very nice place to stay at a reasonable price and good location.
We found The red lion on Priceline on our way home this year from palm desert during COVID ..apprehensive about staying in a hotel. We booked a king bed - were upstairs on second level and our room was clean /quiet/ safe. Would stay here again Bonus was Black Bear Diner right next door that had been take out menu and food was GOOD
Only in town for one night. Nice little place, the remodeled rooms are nice and adequate. The bathroom was extremely small, the door had about an inch or two before it hit the toilet. The toilet paper holder was crowding the toilet. The room was nice enough. The king size bed wasn't new nor was the box spring. Half of the bed was hard meanwhile the other half was soft. It would be nice if they had more than three pillows on a king size bed. The blankets were lacking so if you were in need of warmth you didn't get it. The room is in need of a deep cleaning, dust of the vent fan in the bathroom, along the baseboards, the sink faucet wasn't as clean as it could have been. The ceiling had a lot of cracks and some portions of the cracks looked like they could fall at any time. No microwave in the room. The breakfast was lacking, it doesn't really cater to all people. The bananas were under ripe. The waffle was chewy. The eggs and sausage are something we would not eat. The staff was friendly and had really good customer service. There were times when we would go in to the sink area and it actually smelled like the room next door was smoking. Very off putting smell for me. Other than hearing a couple of doors slam and a few foot steps it was rather quiet. The price of the hotel, the rooms and the customer service is enough for us to stay again if we are in town.
Very clean rooms. Amazing staff!
My wife and I were in town for two days while I was getting a tattoo done. The room was very clean and modern. Oscar at the front desk is hands down the best hotel employee I’ve ever met! He greeted us with a smile and good conversation, and was there with a smile for a couple things we needed help with during our stay. We went back to the lobby the night before checking out just to thank him and we ended up chatting for over an hour! Breakfast was tasty and there was a large selection. Overall this was one of the top stays on our 10 night trip, and we would definitely stay again!
Clean and quiet
We slept only one night cause we are on a roadtrip. The room was clean and the area is very quiet. I don’t recommend the breakfast. We slept very well! If you are a smoker, you will find only one spot for smoke in front of the reception.
