Nightmare Proportions
The lady on the front desk was super rude to me. once I checked into my bedroom, I discovered that the adjoining room door had a faulty deadbolt and that it would not lock. when I reported this to her at the front desk, she told me that there was nobody in the room next door however there was a loud party going on. he was very stern and refused to take a look for herself. Also , I often sleep during the day, therefore I'm awake at night, and I went to find vending machines for a snack. I accidentally locked my key card inside the room. I went to the front desk, the same lady, and asked if I could have a duplicate. she asked me which room and I told her and she said that there was no one checked in that room or by my name. after some looking around she discovered that there was. this really raises question about her cognitive ability to perform duties

Not very good policy
This is no pre-payment required listed on Trip Advisor. I was suspiciously questioned whether I was a local resident or traveling. When I answered that I was traveling from out of town, they said they required a $50 deposit or they could not rent me a room. Bs

Honest Review
I had a deeply upsetting and discriminatory experience at this motel in Grants Pass. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant—a white-haired woman—made me wait in the lobby for over 5 minutes with no one else present. From the outset, her demeanor was cold and dismissive. After checking in, I asked for extra bath towels, a very normal request. Her response was shocking: she told me to “go count the bath towels in your room” before asking for more. When I did as she said and returned to request additional towels, she refused again, this time telling me to "ask in the morning." When I questioned this unusual treatment, she escalated the situation by telling me, “You’re welcome to leave.” I asked whether white guests were treated the same way, and she responded by threatening to call the police and told me I had “5 minutes to get out.” As an Asian traveler, this encounter felt overtly racist. No one should be made to feel unwelcome—or unsafe—based on their race. I hope this review encourages the motel’s management to reflect on its hiring and training practices. Discrimination has no place in hospitality.

A gem in Grants Pass
This hotel shines in multiple ways. Location is very convenient to interstate and downtown, staff is warm and gracious, cost is very reasonable, stay includes free use of a terrific fitness club less than a ten minute walk away, and breakfast includes fresh fruit (oranges and bananas), delicious mini-muffins, yogurts, and other options. And when I left an important item behind in my room, they called before I realized it to arrange for shipping.

A great place to stay!
It is an updated, attractive and spotless facility, both in common areas and on our room. The personnel were gracious, and the complimentary breakfast was better than most. The room was comfortable and attractive.
