California Trip
Stopped here on our way from California to Washington. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was quiet and clean. Simple but filling breakfast included. We could not be happier with a family of 2 adults and three children, this saved us a lot of money. Nice little town with many restaurants within a 5-minute drive. The room included a microwave and refrigerator.

Very comfortable place to stay
Our first time at a Red Lion. We arrived late and left early, so it was a short stay. The check in employee was awesome! I'd booked through a Hotel app from a burger place up the street. Check in was smooth. The bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast wasn't much. No time to use the pool, but the rates were reasonable, rooms were clean. Employees great. Would stay again.

All-In-All A Very Pleasant Stay
First rate. for the price, all-around. surprisingly pleasant stay in all regards. Although the room was somewhat small, everything else about it, and the hotel overall, was very pleasant. From a firm mattress, soft linens, and a freshly laundered bedspread, to bright, tasteful furnishings, paint and decor. Two locations for plugging in electronics (desk and bedside). Every area of the room was scrupulously clean, towels were soft and absorbent. The continental breakfast was adequate, with a nice assortment of fresh (and ripe) fruit, two cereals, Jimmy Dean sausage sandwiches, several muffins, and yogurt.

Nice place to stay
Enjoyed our 3 day stay. Clean room. Room was large, we stayed in a Jr. Suite. Liked having a couch and coffee table. Bathroom was quite small but the tub had a nice non-slip bottom and lots of water pressure. The town is nice and we felt safe in the area. Upstairs neighbor was a bit noisy. Could hear running, walking in things falling on the floor periodically. Fortunately by night things were quiet. The only inconvenience was that when we arrived at 3:00 for check-in our room was not ready and had to wait until nearly 4pm for our room. The price was good and we would stay again.

“Upgrades” might keep us from coming back again
I reserved a pet friendly King room but when I got there I was told I was “upgraded” to a pet friendly two Queen room. When we got to the room, none of the outlets in the sleeping area worked which meant that the lamps, clock and television were unusable. It was late when we checked in and I had a toddler to put down. I called and told the front desk in the morning and they said they would have maintenance come out after I checked out. It was disappointing to not be able to charge our devices or use the television or alarm clock. We have stayed at this hotel once before and got put in this same room after realizing a room change was needed. I feel like this “upgrade” is a last resort room. Not sure I will be back again - which is a bummer because the staff is always friendly and the rooms are fairly clean and we love the continental breakfast! Also, the location is great!
