Off Season Retreat
Truely take a step back in time, into this well established B&B. Reminiscent of the accommodations seen in cult classics like Ground Hog's Day, and So I Married an Axe Murderer. Each room is unique, and filled with history, a firm bed, and quaint amenities. Lovingly labeled Grandma's house for the service and 1990's influenced decor. Enjoy a board game by the fire in the parlor, with a fresh cup from the coffee/tea bar, sit on the expansive patio and swing to the occasional lul of passing cars, walk around the picturesque grounds, and throw some horseshoes on the "park" lawn. This property is in close proximity to many natural beauties, including a jaunt through nature to 2 waterfalls just minutes from the front door. The local bar and cafe will suite your dining needs beyond the generous, restaurant quality breakfast you can expect every morning. *If traveling with another couple, book the Pearson and Jennings rooms to enjoy your own quiet corner of the house. (Rooms are seperated by a cozy sitting area.) *Small groups book the entire third floor by reserving the Record Suite and John Muir room. *This property would be an EXCELLENT option for a family reunion! Room enough to stay on property (indoors and out) or caravan to local points of interest.

Pleasant stay on way to Crater Lake.
The grounds are beautiful and the history of the hotel is very interesting. We stayed in the motel part of the hotel in order to get two queen beds. The room was a little tired but the beds were comfortable and clean. The dinner house was closed for the season so we did not try the food. This was conveniently located for our trip to Crater Lake.

Simply wonderful : )
This was the ideal location for us to stay after short walk around Crater Lake. We were thrilled with the breakfasts and dinners, but mostly with the very kind staff and the charm of this location. From here, you can walk to simply stunning hiking trails and waterfalls. We also were able to drive to Rogue River activities, Alpaca farm, wineries and more. Highly rated!

A wonderful experience
The Prospect was a beautiful house. Very true to period when they could be. Food was amazing. We had dinner and breakfast there. A great local trail to waterfalls made it even better. A great place to vacation.

If you’re looking for a place to stay by Crater Lake, stay here!
This is the closest town to Crater Lake National Park and the accommodations here exceeded our expectations of a typical “motel”. It was extremely clean, safe, and the people who worked at the hotel were very friendly. The wifi was solid and there was extremely hot water at all times. The woman at the front desk was so helpful and gave us a lot of recommendations and maps for local hikes and water falls! Definitely recommend making a dinner reservation here as well- order the prime rib, it was truly delicious!! The homemade bread was also amazing. My only regret was not leaving enough room to try their dessert because we know it would have been so good.
