I’d read about the “Coffee Girl” for breakfast in the old cannery building at the Fisherman’s Suites. We were wonderfully surprised by the collection of restaurants, shops and the old cannery museum here. We had a wonderful breakfast at Coffee Girl which also served brunch and lunch. There is a nice pub, a canvas shop and serveral other stores. Well worth the visit with a lovely view outside of the Columbia River.

With some improvements, could be a great place
Overall: Right on/over the water on an old cannery pier. Lots of sea lions barking at all hours! Rogue Public House is downstairs. Check in was loosy goosy. No one showed up to check us in when we arrived at 4PM as required. We had to track Floyd down in his scuba shop on the pier. This should be improved; who wants to hunt down staff when you're paying this much? Location: We had the 1st Mate room. Apparently there isn’t an elevator, so you’ll need to carry your bags up stairs. Nice room, awesome views. Could use blackout curtains for late sleepers, but the sea lions will wake you up anyway. When you check in, be sure to ask for the wi-fi password (secured and very fast). Bathroom: Pretty small. Bed/Linens: Comfy bed. Feather pillows were very prickly and stiff—down pillows would be better. Stay again? Yes, with good ear plugs.
