Gem of a hotel
What an incredible stay!! The Pelican Shores Inn may be one of the loveliest places I've stayed. The view was flawless, the beds were super comfortable and the staff were lovely. The pool was fun to swim in and when we swam we were the only ones in it. The rooms were a great size and sleeping with the ocean right outside the window was such a treat. I honestly didn't want to leave and cannot wait to be back! I'm already planning my next trip. I only wish we'd booked for longer, two nights wasn't enough. Make sure you book this place, it's a gem of a find.

Absolutely amazing
Amazing! Incredibly clean and affordable. Friendly staff. AMAZING view. We were able to book the day before arrival and check in was Incredibly smooth and quick. Beds are super comfortable. Wake up to the ocean outside your window. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing beach get away.

very dirty
The room as a whole was smelly and dirty The curtains on the sliding door were torn and filthy, The living room furniture smelled of Body odor and dirty feet. The pillows in the bedroom smelled like smelly feet. There are so many more options in Lincoln City do your research, I will never go back to this one.

Not As Advertised
Sadly this was a disappointment. We stayed a total of 3 nights, and we were all glad when the stay came to an end and got us out of the musty bottom floor room, which was more like a basement. The ocean view is incredible, especially if you’re not next to the retaining wall like we were. There was an issue with the toilet in the main room, and I reported it the first morning before we went out for the day. It appeared fixed when we returned, thankfully. Condition of bathrooms was a little questionable, holes that had been patched over and paint cracking on the ceilings. The service is sorely lacking, and the gals at the front desk are disinterested and rather unfriendly. There was no daily housekeeping, which I get due to the current times (and perhaps lack of staff?) but no one mentioned this at check in. The breakfast was laughable, and shouldn’t be advertised as “continental.” Overall, highly unlikely we’d stay here again. Should have booked a condo like we usually do but since this place got such good reviews, we gave it a shot. Perhaps the higher floors are better, but ground level was very disappointing.
