Giving me some river love
We ran the rouge October 8-12th and decided to splurge on a lodge. After a long cold and raining day it was a godsend to stay at paradise. Warm and friendly staff, amazing food, great cocktails, wow factor accommodations and the view (breath taking). Not sure I can happily run the rouge again without a stay at paradise:-). Thanks all

Horrible, never dreamed Paradise would turn into a nightmare.
Very rude people, so sad after years of going there with awesome memories to be treated so badly, told us didn't even want us on the property to stay on the trail. Wouldn't even sell a pop to anyone. Spent 22 years running the river and never had a bad experience there. They should sell to someone who cares.

Don’t go to the lodge unless you have a reservation
For the past 3 years we’ve been rafting past this lodge, stopping to pop up for some ice cream and the excellent views. We’ve been feeling increasingly less and less welcome until finally we were told last week by a grumpy worker (in Paradise) that we weren’t welcome because we didn’t have reservations. Not even for an ice cream. So ends an awesome tradition :(

Unfriendly and not wanted.
While on a rafting trip with 3 other couples (Aug 21, 2022)we decided to stop in at the lodge to see if we wanted to book a night for our next trip down the river. We had stopped three years ago and thought maybe things may be better from our experience then. When we got up to the deck of course the couples that had not been there were very impressed with the view and the accommodations that the lodge had to offer, we quickly learned that we were not wanted EVEN MORE THIS TIME. When we walked into the lodge the lady behind the counter looked at us and had no words. One friend asked if they could buy a drink and was told no but they would sell us a 6 pack of beer that would be to go only and we would have to leave to drink it. Couldn't even get a glass of water. There was no hi, how are you or I am sorry but we only have services for guests, NOTHING. SO RUDE and COLD. So we went outside to look at the property. As we were just about to leave, two of us had to use the facilities. One went in with no issues but the second was stopped and told they were for paying guests only. So she said ok. Her husband was floored at how all of us were treated and said to the two men outside working that they had the worst customer service he had ever experienced. The worker said he had no idea what he was talking about. He knew exactly what he was talking about. It is like the only qualification to work there is: can you be rude, cold and unfriendly? Then yes, you are hired. I guess this place doesn't need the money from willing visitors who would have probably spent a few $100's for an hour there. If they do not want the "General Public" to come up from the river they should have signs posted. That would have detoured us 100%. Reading the reviews from over the last several years I can not believe there aren't more BAD reviews for this place. If I could have given them Zero Stars I would have. We will never return or give this place a recommendation ever. Even guest reviews that had stayed said poor things about them. The owner of this place must not read these reviews or care for that matter. They should be ashamed of themselves and the staff. This place could be an oasis for those in need of just a little comfort and friendly smile. NOT happening with the owner or staff. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.

Oregon's Beauty Revealed at Paradise Lodge
My boyfriend and I went to Paradise Lodge to enjoy nature together and we had such a wonderful experience here, I highly recommend!! The trip begins with Jerry's Jet Boat ride up the Rogue river. The view going up the river was absolutely beautiful, the nature is green and lush. Once we arrived to Paradise Lodge we were in love with the cabins surrounded by nature and no internet!! Yes its such a wonderful feeling being able to sleep in a comfortable bed, take a warm shower, and watch the river and NOT be distracted by cell phones and computers. I loved walking the trails to the main lodge to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner and then coming back to our beautiful cabin with clean sheets, clean bathroom and towels and electricity to blow dry my hair. Its everything I love about camping but better!! One of the days we stayed we walked about half a mile up the river and then floated down the river on life preservers to the lodge, we loved it! I loved that we could spend time together as a couple, I felt it was a wonderful new experience we got to share together, its very romantic and fun and yet peaceful. Listening to the river never gets old, its calming and renewing. We absolutely will be returning!
