Was a little hesitant after reading some of the older reviews, however we were pleasantly surprised at how cute and clean our suite was. We stayed on the ocean side and in one of the recently renovated apts, it was tastefully done, clean, and staff was incredibly sweet and attentive. We would definetly book here again.
Completely comfortable and friendly, the brand new renovations made me feel like a five star guest. Super easy check in and out, the night was so quiet the sounds of the ocean lulled me to sleep. I believe staff went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful, and they did.
Me and my husband booked a 2 day trip at Newport and made a mistake with booking with this motel. The walls were thin to the point where we heard everything from the room next to us. The door had a decent gap to the point where everything in the hallway was heard too. The place smelled musty, the walls were dirty, the bed sheets were not washed, there was so much trash underneath the bed, the ice bucket hasn't been cleaned, the shower curtain had a cigarette hole, the shower itself leaked and the floor was disgusting. The door to the bathroom also didn't shut and wasn't properly placed. The sink was loose and meant for dishes. We also got a room with partial sea view but that was a scam. Overall you are much better spending your money at a different hotel with service and is actually clean and maintained.
Well it started out we got a upgrade to a better room .with a real bathroom sink...and not a dishwashers kitchen sink.which was odd.....but the worse thing was during our 3 day stay... Not once did they clean, or change the bed or give us fresh towels. Even when we put the maid service sign out on our door and even brought it up the guy in the office....nothing the entire weekend..I even bought it up to the so called manager...that refused to take responsibility for her property....it was every one else's fault.. along with her telling me "it's not like it's a 5 star hotel" I was blown away by the managers incompetence. The room itself was fine make sure you get a bay side room or the street noise will get you.. and people smoke in the halls...which sucks for non smokers. I think they just need to get a manager that wants you to come back...she was not a manager that could manage herself out of a paper sack.....oh btw. When I asked for towels and about the non cleaning of our room....the employee. Gave me a bag or towels,trash bags coffee stuff shampoo etc..from the mgrs instuction. Nice gesture..but I'm not the flippin maid.....should of done it 12 hrs earlier. The place Reaks of incompatance..and the manager said it improved...lmao. Spend your money where they have house keeping and a manager that knows their job and fix your tile for God sakes 👎
They deleted my review regarding our stay the other night. Again, this place is absolutely disgusting! Filthy, rat infested motel. Very unprofessional staff oh and the ones that live there. So Gross!
