Pleasant stay in a remodeled 50s style motel
Last minute accomadation when we couldnt find anything on the coast! Pleasantly surprised!!!! Very nice place. Recently remodeled....and very very clean. Has a cute retro feel! Best night's sleep I've had so far on our two week vacation in Oregon/California!
Roaches in the room
We checked in, and had to leave for a new hotel right away. They had roaches in the room, we encountered several in plain sight. The room had an strong musty odor. Sadly, I recommend making the drive to Coos Bay and staying in a room better taken care of, and more professional. Very bad experience.
The beds were pretty comfy, but I wouldn't stay here again. They made a copy of my ID and would not return it.
We stayed here for one night because we didn't want to sleep on someone's floor. It's the only motel in Coquille. The place is definitely overpriced, but the beds are comfortable. The room was a bit weird, but not horribly dirty. My main issue was that they copied my Drivers License despite me paying with a card. I asked politely for the copy back when we checked out the next morning, and they refused very rudely. There is absolutely no reason why they would need to keep that information on file. It seemed sketchy as hell to me. The management was rude and very unprofessional. There were also no curtains on any of the windows in our room, and I had to ask numerous times. My advice for management is to have the people at the desk not look like they just rolled out of bed and to be nicer to your guests. Next time I come to visit my family, I will sleep on the floor at their house or get a motel in Coos Bay.
A Good Night’s Sleep
Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff! The beds were comfortable, the shower hot with great water pressure, and the room was quiet. We appreciated how accommodating the staff was with our arrival. It was worth driving the few minutes off Hwy 101.
This was a last minute road trip for us. Because it was spring break, a lot of places were booked. Found this little gem and fell in love. We stayed in a 2 Queen room. It wasn’t large but was exactly what we needed. The couple running it were very friendly. We just loved all the special touches in the community outside areas. Definitely recommend. It’s not far from Bandon or Coos Bay.
