Was inexpensive so we decided to stay here with our two little dogs and the staff was pleasant. Gated dog area was great to let the dogs out and this place didn’t charge a fee for the dogs to stay! Noticed there were a couple seedy looking cars in the parking lot and a few people in their cars just sitting there, thought they might take off later. They did not, and we spent much of the night watching over our car and roof rack to make sure nothing was stolen. I had Chinese food from down the street (which I would also not recommend) and threw it away outside in a small trash can by the back door. Come morning it was opened and all of the food we left it in was eaten and strewn about. The emergency exit door right in front of the homeless car was propped open, so someone could get into the building at any time of night. I closed it. Random shady people getting in and out of cars in the dark back corner of the lot. When I first got in the room I noticed a blood droplet on the wall of the bathroom. Wiped that up. Curly black hair on the top of the shower head and more hair in the bath tub which really just needed to be cleaned properly. Top comforter of the bed had a 1” burn hole in it and the sitting area by the window chair had a burn hole in it as well, surely these are not from cigarettes. Random 1” hole in the bathroom shower wall that I had to stuff something in. Not my favorite motel 6 and I would have stayed in Roseburg instead but already booked this one. Oh there is a cool diner place that is 24/7 next to it, discount on food if you bring your room key.
Very nice property for a Motel 6, was probably a different hotel in the past. Always dog friendly, they have a small off leash area that is thoughtful. We chose a room with a fridge and microwave so that was convenient. The beds were ok. The main problems were no TV (the cable was out apparently), and no hot water. But it was a good value and I appreciate that.
Warm water only, this smaller than other locations, reception is terrible gets blurry all channels had to use the wifi for iPad to watch TV, no continental breakfast just coffee. My company tried to call the place at starting at 11:30on Sunday morning multiple times and no one ever answered the phone here not until I came in at 13:30 to Check in did someone attempt to answer my call while I was at desk ,yes they have truck parking but this place not worth the money they want to charge it is a $39.99 room motel no more ice machine on 2nd floor not working either people can be helpful but place is a big dive bed he'll my back hurt from it and no blankets just sheets ant bed spread.....
The building looks fantastic from the freeway and from outside. Front desk and lobby look great- Was a former ?"Wyndham/Holiday Inn like venue. Free upgrade to better room on 3rd floor. Beautiful room. Once inside....suddenly noticed EXTREME NOISE from rowdy guests. Opened the door to discover this screaming child and abusive mother noise was.....10 doors away ...way down the hall from me. Then came all of the door slamming. The hallway was an extreme ECHO CHAMBER. There is no normal insulation in this motel. You hear from inside your "lovely room" EVERYTHING in the next room and room beneath. SHOCKING. it looked so nice Low class guests in what looks like an "business travelers venue" I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL. TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP OR QUIET WITHIN YOUR ROOM OVER PRICED....with rude front desk day clerk.
At first glance, this hotel appeared cleanly. However, the first room I was given wreaked of onions and body odor. As tired as I was I was, somehow, ok with this. However, with the screaming children in the room next door, I asked to be moved to save the family the hassle. The second room I was placed in had a similar smell, but also a smell I could not readily identify, and the window had been left open. Being tired, I went to sleep immediately, shutting the window and writing off the smell to a lack of housekeeping. The next morning, the smell seemed worse (after a night with a closed window) and I went to investigate the source of the smell. Well, after pulling back the bed sheets and mattress cover, I found a huge puddle of urine. To be more correct, there were multiple puddles/urine stains across the bed that smelled of cat urine. To further the problem, the stains were not dry. I spent a night sleeping in a urine soaked mattress that had not been treated by any stretch of the imagination. After speaking with the front desk about the issue, and being moved a second time, I was not offered any sort of compensation that was within the realm of an evening spent sleeping in someone/something else's urine. This mattress needed to be destroyed, it was untreatable, and yet they did no such thing. They put new sheets and a mattress cover on, but they left the urine puddle. I am appalled by this and will NEVER stay at a Motel 6 again. I HIGHLY recommend you do the same.
