Sewage backup.Infected cellulosis, foot, that seems to be going septic and no reach out in five days from management can't work
Review for Motel 6 (Medford, OR) Title: NEGLIGENT & INHUMANE: Booking Error Led to Raw Sewage Exposure and Severe Infection I am writing this while hospitalized/under doctor's orders for Cellulitis, unable to walk or work, because of the gross negligence of this Motel 6. The Incident: I arrived after a 24-hour work shift on Christmas. Despite having a reservation, the staff made a mistake in my booking and put me in the wrong room. They told me I had to leave that room and couldn't get into my "correct" room until 3:00 PM—even though it was only 10:00 AM and I had only been asleep for one hour. Exhausted and trying to be nice, I got up to pack and took a quick shower. I was so tired I was dozing off on my feet. I woke up 10 minutes later to a foul smell and realized raw feces and sewage were flooding up through the pipes. The waste was already up to my ankles. The Response: When I alerted staff, they admitted they already knew this wing had existing sewer backup problems. Despite being physically covered in waste, the clerk was smug and refused to let me move to a clean room to decontaminate. I told her the treatment was inhumane, and her response was to permanently ban me for complaining about a biohazard she helped create. The Medical Result: Four days later, that sewage has caused a severe bacterial infection (Cellulitis) in my foot. The pain is so excruciating I have been vomiting. I am now out of work and facing mounting medical bills while the manager hides on "vacation" and ignores my calls. Take Warning: This property is a health hazard. They are knowingly renting rooms with failed plumbing. I have documented everything—photos of the waste and my medical diagnosis—and have contacted both a lawyer and the news. Stay away for your own safety.

Total incompetence, not willing to correct their mistake to accommodate the traveler.
I do not recommend staying here any more, I have been staying here every 90 days for the past 3 yrs when coming into town. I checked in last night 4/23/24 and check out 4/25/24 for a 2 night stay, I had a coworker coming in to stay so I booked him a room check in 4/24/24 check out 4/25/24, explained it very well to the best clerk while checking he said to present this tomorrow while you check in. Went to check in and the clerk left the wrong date on it check in 4/23 check out 4/24 , clearly a mistake no harm no fowl. The clerk said we needed to pat for another night, was not interested in attempting to correct the error. Asked him to contact a manager, he said their is no one to contact. Asked him to give us a refund for the room, said we needed to talk to the manager. Then things started to heat up, then he said to leave the premises or he's calling the police, so we packed up my room dropped off the keys and went super 8 just down the road who were more than willing to get us set up for the night. I will be speaking to corporate and the manager in the morning, guarantee they will not refund our money.

Maybe see if Jackson St. Bridge has a vacancy
Thankfully my time in the room was limited. I came down for a memorial and ashes scattering of a past family member. Upon arrival around 3:15p my room was not yet ready. I got told about 20 min. So I took my dog across the street to the local dog park (one of the plus sides of this motel). We walked around the entire Bear Creek Park and returned at almost 4p where my room still wasn't done. Again I was told about 5 min. Waited and was finally given a key but was told not to enter the room until the housekeeper moved her cart from in front of my room. When I was finally able to enter my room I didn't have a lot of time to inspect it. After i returned later that evening, I had purchased a few things that needed refrigerated. When I opened the fridge there was hair in the bottom of the fridge and still an old bottle of ice tea in it, plus the freezer was so iced up the door didn't close all the way and it started to defrost causing a huge puddle right at the entrance walkway. I called the front desk to report it and someone came down immediately to clean it up. I had hoped that was going to be the worst that happened with this room but it wasn't. The next morning I had to get up very early and when I turned the light on in the bathroom, critters scurried away. Yes everyone's nightmare, COCKROACHES!!! I had brought to the front desks attention and was told I would be notified to move to another room. I never got notified, I had no choice but to stay in this room. When I got up the next morning, the same thing. Cockroaches in the bathroom, that's the only place I saw them. I was checking out anyway so i packed my things and upon checkout I once again reported to the front desk. This time it was someone different. First I was asked "Are you sure they were roaches "? I then showed him the picture I had taken. His only response was "Well I'll have Orkin look into it." Not even an apology for everything. I wouldn't stay at this Motel 6 even if there was no other place. I will just stay in my vehicle if I have to. Unprofessional, inconsiderate staff.

Great Associates
A friendly lady checked me in, and she gave me a room on the first floor which matters. It was nice and quiet during my stay. The only thing that needed fixing was their ice machine. The room was comfortable and clean.

Clean room
I always enjoy my stays here. Rooms are always clean and staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I can never remember her name but the lady who works evenings a little on the taller side, she always helps me and makes sure I have everything I need.
