For the that price I expect more luxury. I normally choose Microtel for value. NOT THIS TIME. I will not take Microtel value for granted next time.

There were a number of problems that I encountered with the Microtel Hotel in Klamath Falls: 1) When I checked in on June 10th, I was given a room. I noticed that the microwave had a strange message in the space where the remaining time is typically displayed. I tried to clear it and to use it. No luck. I spoke to the front desk agent who also tried to clear the message, but she couldn´t. Then she tried to find a replacement microwave, but she found none. Finally, she moved me to another room. 2) On the Wyndham website, it says ¨Daily Housekeeping¨. This is not true. At check-in, there is a sign saying housekeeping needs to be ordered in advance. 3) I spoke with the front desk agent on June 11th and requested that housekeeping clean my room on the 12th. He told me that typically the hotel cleans the room every other day of people staying for multiple nights. No one cleaned my room on June 12th or any other day while I was staying there. 4) I found a pair on sunglasses that did not belong to me on the floor next to my bed. I gave these to the front desk agent. This shows that the room cleaning was rushed and not thorough or the housekeeper should have found these. 5) Because it was more convenient, I parked on the side of the building and entered using my key card. On June 13th, the key card reader stopped working and did not work again while I was staying there. I was given two reasons (needs battery, part needed).

Quaint
Lovely place at the edge of town, away from the traffic, plenty of parking, and hot breakfast ! Very clean, soft towels, and decent bed!

Good location with access to shopping and dining nearby. Decent hot breakfast option. Rooms were pretty comfortable. The only downside that we experienced was TV channel selection were generous but uninteresting to us.
