Bad, really bad. Super sketchy . Please read and be careful

I don't ever leave any reviews, but this has to be said. Especially single traveling women and/or dog owners, please read. I also worked at the front desk of a 200 room hotel, so I have seen lots of things and heard lots of complaints. Staff was nice, check in was fast. Stayed only one night. We stayed in one of the pet rooms, which is in the back side of the hotel. Overflowing garbage cans outside, garbage all over parking lot in the back. The bed was clean and the bathroom was ok. Windows and mirrors super dirty and dusty. I have traveled as single women all over the West, just me and my dogs, but this place is super sketchy. I can only talk about the area in the back. I do not know about the front part of the hotel where front desk is. The blue building behind the hotel is part of the hotel, but it is abandoned and with a note from the County on the wall saying, "building is unsafe to enter, this is not a demolition notice". All the doors in that building are gone, same with windows, graffiti's on the walls inside, mattresses on the floors, and you can tell that hobos and/or drug addicts are living there. I did not walk my dogs by myself outside in the evening, because this is an unsafe area and no security lights in the parking area where they want do owners to park. In the morning when we had breakfast at the Denny's next door I asked the waiter about this part of the hotel and he said there is a lot of police action going on. The backdoor was not locked all night long, even though it has a key pad by the door. Security in the back of the building is very relaxed, which is the most dangerous part of the facility. I felt safer in downtown Seattle, than I felt in the parking lot of this hotel. Everybody, please be careful and take extra precautions.

Ant Infestation, broken ice machine, no maintenance staff. And that's the beginning...

A friend of mine and I stayed here in mid August, 2020 as part of a 3-day vacation. While the staff was friendly and professional, the rooms had A LOT to be desired. We checked in, got into the (first) room and immediately noticed a few things: 1. The screen door which went with our sliding glass door assembly was bent, didn't slide smoothly on it's track and didn't close all the way. 2. A massive infestation of ants - my friend pointed out to me that "look - they're marching in single file towards your foot!" And in fact, they were. Hundreds of them. 3. The room smelled of smoke (and probably some mold mixed in there, too). So we immediately left the room and got a new room, directly upstairs. Upon entry, we immediately noticed more issues: 1. The air conditioner was on full-cold with the fan on high.....with little "cool" coming out of it (the room was quite stuffy and warm), meaning that in the middle of August the room was effectively stuffy and uncomfortably warm; 2. The bathroom door lock didn't work. 3. When I went to get some ice, I found out that the ice machine didn't work. When I inquired, management said, "well, we don't have a maintenance guy on staff, so we haven't gotten it fixed". Indeed the hotel's patio and pool were closed - no doubt because they didn't have a maintenance guy on staff to take care of it. 4. The curtains didn't close all the way as there were no hooks on the ends of each curtain holding it up - creating a 6 inch gap.....which, come 6am the following morning, bright sunlight streamed in, waking both of us up prematurely. We ended up going to WalMart down the street and got a fan to help keep us cool in the room. I also canceled our 2nd night we had reserved, booked at the Best Western down the street and stayed there the second night. Don't stay here. Don't be seduced by the cheap rates. You get what you pay for. Ants, broken appliances, smelly rooms, etc.

They should have paid ME instead of charging to stay

This place is just disgusting. Black mold in the bathroom, the carpets are stained and I think they are at least 30 years old. The sink stopper had disgusting mold and hair on it. I know this because we had to wash up in the sink because the bathtub/shower was too gross to use. The beds are old and uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Needless to say, I can't wait to get home and take a shower in a clean bathroom and sleep in a good bed and walk on a carpet that I'm not afraid to walk barefoot on. If you aren't afraid to wallow in filth, this is your place to stay. Oh, and the blow dryer didn't work. I complained to the front desk in the morning and the girl was rude and plain didn't care. I went back that evening and a different girl was very apologetic and tried to remedy the situation by trying the power breaker for the room, but that did not work. She did not have any extra dryers, so the problem was not solved. I will never stay there again and would never recommend it to anyone. The place needs to either be shut down and completely renovated or just demolished.

    Totally fine

We needed a simple place for 1 night, and this did the trick. The front desk person was very friendly. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The caulking in the bathtub needs to be redone, so don’t stay here if that grosses you out. But if you can ignore that, you’ll get a good deal here. We paid $70 for the night (made reservations on-line) and got what we expected. (Also free wifi, which worked well, and free breakfast, which we didn’t try.)

    Don't stay here

This hotel just needs to be torn down . No amount of cleaning will fix it....just old. Mold in the tub, spiderwebs in the patio door and all over the exterior, stained carpet and bedspread. The girl at the front desk was very nice and efficient during checkin.
