TripAdvisor Ratings & Reviews
We spent one night at this hotel when we were touring Oregon. It is a really lovely hotel with a large foyer that looks a bit like a hunting lodge. We booked the previous night and check-in was smooth and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean. There is a lift. Breakfast was good - hot food/cereals/fruit etc. I was going to have a bowl of porridge and then found out it was actually sausage gravy! NB Gravy in the UK is brown and certainly not served on scones for breakfast! Plenty of places nearby or a short car journey away to eat. The next day the man on the desk kindly printed out directions to a lovely lake for us to visit on our way to Kelso. We would have liked to stay there longer.
OVER PRICED AND OUTDATED
Save your money and book at another hotel in Madras. Upon checking in, I stood at the front desk for 5 minutes and then finally rang the bell. The front desk person came out behind the door and told me he was watching the news. He tried to give me an update of the worlds events like I did not have a smart phone. I reserved two rooms over Labor Day and the price was definitely not worth it. The carpet and furnishing were extremely outdated for the price of the rooms. Carpet was rolled up in some of the hallways, so be careful not to trip over them. There was dust build up in every corner of the rooms on the carpet. DO NOT work on the trend mill at this facility as they are from the early 1990's and I almost fell off of it due to the narrow and worn-out track. Tried to check out 1 hour late and was denied; you would think with the lack of decent, clean carpet and out dated things throughout they would have at least granted me a late check-out. I will be booking at Econo Lodge or Quality Inn for future basketball trips to Madras.
Great front desk service!
Miguel made our check in simple and without stress! He was super personable and funny. I wish all hotels could have a front desk person like him because it is the very basis of knowing what kind of place you are staying in. Great decor! Thanks Miguel!
Lovely Hotel in Madras.
Very quiet, off the main junction of Madras. Comfortable, clean, and very quiet. Other Madras hotels are on the main highway and consequently have noise all night long. Trucks breaking to make the corners. This Inn is up the hill a couple of blocks, near the Safeway. Great location. Nice staff, too. It's best to unload at the door, then move your car to the parking lot. We will stay again 😊
The staff was amazing. Rome were well cared for clean and comfortable. The lobby was so comfortable I never have before taken time to enjoy a lobby. We enjoyed a sun area outside and the indoor pool and hot tub gave us a nice relaxing spot in our trip.
