The Inn is a comfortable hotel in a prime area overlooking Cape Kiwanda. It's just 2 minutes away from the beach and the beautiful overlook at the Cape. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. There's equipment you can check out that are included in the stay (bikes, beach chairs, etc.) plus optional add-ons at cost such as a bonfire kit for the evening. My only frustration is the pool and jacuzzi are across the street and you enter through the marketplace building. I just got a day pass to the Headlands spa instead

Location is great. Views are good. Practices around rate information being left out of confirmation emails are shady. Additional taxes and fees were extreme. We booked online what we thought was $300-400/night only to discover it was over $600/night after all fees and taxes. No way to prove this since their confirmation emails conveniently leave out rate information. They charge $12/day to park. The TV in room only runs streaming apps, so unless you want to pay for a streaming app it's useless. No way to watch basic news/ weather or local channels. Shower had minimal water pressure and while we reported this to front desk, nothing was done. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Overall, nice hotel but not worth the price and I don't appreciate possible shady practices of not being upfront about all costs in confirmation emails and not addressing problem in room given the price. Front desk is also not staffed after 8pm/overnight.

Expensive Disappointment
I was extremely disappointed by what ended up (with all the additional fees) to be a $566/night experience. I chose this property based on the favorable reviews and was looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay on the beautiful Oregon Coast. Sadly, the traffic noise from the road was non-stop, even closing the sliding glass door did very little to muffle it. And several nights I was serenaded by barking dogs. The area rug in my room was visibly stained and dirty, with what appeared to be considerable accumulated sand and dirt, presumably from many wet paws that have tracked across it. I understand that this is a dog friendly hotel, but that does not excuse a room being presented to a guest in this condition. (See photo) Another reason I chose this property was to have air conditioning. Unfortunately, the A/C stopping working a couple of nights into my stay. A fan was brought up to my room very quickly, but as you will see from the photo, it had not been cleaned in quite a while. Rather than blowing the dirt around my room, I spent a long time with a tooth brush and wet wipes doing a job I do at home. At this price point, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, comfort and overall experience. I did not feel the hotel provided good value for the money. The staff at the front desk and housekeeping were all very friendly and helpful, but they could not make up for the other deficits.

Great spot in Pacific City with very nicely remodeled rooms. Close to the beach, close to restaurants, and friendly staff. Great common areas as well with many games for you or your kids to play with. Would stay again!

Above and Beyond!
Every detail was on point! Hotel Rooms are fantastic, well laid out and comfortable. Microwave and Nespresso coffee maker is a 10! Room was large and comfortable. Housekeeping and Front Desk Staff soooo nice! Meridan Restaurant across the street FANTASTIC! Morning coffee and pastry at Stimulus was DELISH!
