If you’re looking for a coastal getaway that checks every box — especially if you’re bringing your dog — the Inn at Cape Kiwanda delivers. Clean, modern rooms with stunning ocean views, and you’re literally steps from the beach. It doesn’t get much more straightforward than that. The room was fresh and well-appointed, with a modern feel that didn’t sacrifice comfort. The views are the real star — you’re right on the water, and waking up to that is hard to beat. Everything you need for a beach weekend is taken care of: they’ve thought through the essentials so you’re not hunting things down or making extra stops. What really sets this place apart is how genuinely dog-friendly it is. We brought our dog Kai, and he was right at home from the moment we arrived. The inn had food bowls, a blanket, and treats waiting for him — those small touches made it clear this wasn’t just a policy, it was intentional. Beach access meant Kai got to do what dogs live for, and watching him run on the sand made the whole trip. And when it was time to head in? There’s a warm wash station to rinse off the sand and salt before coming inside. That’s the kind of thoughtful detail that shows they actually thought this through for dog owners, not just dog-tolerant humans. Pacific City is a great home base, and the Inn is perfectly situated to make the most of it. Would absolutely stay again — Kai included — and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, easy Oregon coast trip where the whole family feels welcome. Four-legged members very much included.

Perfect location, perfect view, perfect stay!
We loved everything about our stay. We loved the proximity to the beach and the sand dunes. We loved the restaurants being just across street and the coffee shop just down stairs. The little grocery store next door was so cute and so handy. Our room was gorgeous and we had a beautiful view. The fresh cookies in the lobby in the evening were a sweet surprising touch. They had tons of board games you could play and the lobby was gorgeous. We hope to come back soon!

Great recently remodeled hotel with ocean views. Nice deck. Fireplace. Cozy lobby w fire pit and games and awesome, friendly staff!
