Great for couples or families alike

Wonderful central hotel for visiting Astoria with your family or as a romantic getaway. We've stayed there for the last 12 years annually as we visit the town for Thanksgiving. The facilities are beautiful and well done - the staff is friendly and the breakfast is perfect. We started visiting as a young dating couple, and 14 visits later we're staying as a married couple with three children. I can't wait for next visit.

Comfortable Hotel in a Great Locatiin

I had to be in Astoria for 3 nights for work and chose this hotel because of the location. I’m so glad I did, both my room and the hotel lobby were cozy and inviting. The guest rooms also have heated bathroom floors and nice bath robes. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I felt like I was staying at a relatives nice historic home and couldn’t have had a better stay.

Great Small Hotel

Very charming hotel with a lot of attention to detail. The hotel is very well kept. The rooms were cozy (ours had a gas fire place you could light if desired). Conveniently located in the downtown area which is very walkable. Complimentary breakfast bar that was included was well stocked and included Portland ketchup (bonus!). The staff were helpful and attentive.

Absolutely perfect stay for an Astoria trip

Cannot say enough good things! We stayed in a suite, with a queen bedroom and a separate living space, that had a pull out couch, microwave and mini fridge. The building is in a perfect location surrounded by shops and restaurants and walking distance to the water. IF you want to leave your room! The hotel has done a magnificent job of maintaining the historic feel, gorgeous wallpaper and crown molding, while bringing comforts like dimmer switches, automatic closet lights, electric fireplaces, heated floors and THE most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in (the pullout couch bed was also very comfortable!). A fan was provided which I used for white noise, but the rooms are so well insulted, I didn’t hear anything from other rooms or the street (unless we opened the windows and let the sea breeze in, which we did!). The breakfast included gluten-free options which I appreciated, and we found time to walk up to the roof and enjoy the panoramic views of the city and river. The lobby wine bar is only open Friday/Saturday so we didn’t get to try it, but hope to next time. 100% would recommended and can’t wait to come back next year!

Great Hotel

Staff was superb and the hotel itself was great. Only complaint would be the unusual elaborate AC contraption that sounded like a Harley Davidson. Luckily it wasn't needed in September so I shut it off. I did feel a presence at this hotel. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was there. That said, I'd totally stay here again.
