Room Key Cards Didn't Work
We stayed in room #104 ? in late April 2026. - The refrigerator sounded like a lawnmower. - The bathroom sink was cracked. - The worst part was that the room key cards didn't work. It took 3 different sets to finally get some that worked. After driving all day, this was not fun. Using their app. to open the doors worked, but my cell phone was charging so I couldn't use it. They said they're getting a new key card system soon (not soon enough). - Lots of space in the room. - Also, their pet fee of $75 was higher than the Homewood in Sacramento ($25). The front desk person said they're all the same....not true. The north Sacramento Homewood was much newer, key cards worked and facility was in much better shape.

Overall, a nice stay
Overall, a nice stay. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and had plenty of room. There were some ball teams also staying when we did, and there was a bit of noise with that, but overall, things quieted down by 10 pm or so. Not great lighting in the room, but the small kitchen was a plus. The price was reasonable.

Temporary Home
Stayed at Homewood Medford for almost a week during my visit, and had an enjoyable stay. Chose this property due to the apartment-style layout and south side location. Despite being on the other side of town, they offer an airport shuttle which was prompt to pick me up. Upon arrival to the hotel at noon, I was given an early checkin which was greatly appreciated. Owen at the desk was warm, inviting, and informative. The breakfast varied every day with a very friendly server running things. All of the staff I encountered were cheerful and helpful. The room is mostly newly renovated (original cabinets and counters, new furniture and wallpaper and such) and very comfortable. They are in the process of upgrading all of the televisions to smart TVs which is always nice. It was quiet every night and I slept well. The room provides all of the space and amenities needed for an extended stay. I felt very at-home. My gripes are few. There is no jacuzzi, which is a disappointment in this cold climate. The thermostats in the room never worked quite right. Otherwise, exceptional stay. I'll be back next time around!

Hard beds
Stayed there last weekend for one nights. Room was partially renovated. Hardest bed I’ve ever slept on and worst night of sleep in recent memory. Checked out and went to a different hotel for the remainder of our stay.

Dishonesty at its finest
Called ahead of time to verify presence of a hot tub. Got the typical hilton run around and finally was given the number to the place we were staying directly. Called them and asked if there was a functional hot tub and was told "yes," Got down to Medford and asked about the hot tub and was then told they don't have one. Evidently Hilton switchboard gave me the number for the Hilton garden inn next door to the hilton suites we were staying in. So, since we booked wanting a hot tub and both properties are owned by the same people, I asked for permission to use the hot tub at the other hilton hotel literally 2 minute walk away. Desk clerk said they can't allow permission but due to switchboard giving me the wrong info he would check in on it. He came back and told me the hot tub next door was closed for maintenance. So I got my room key and went to my room and called the hotel next door to ask about the hot tub - they said it was working fine for tonight and tomorrow. So I called back to the front desk and informed him that he was wrong or not telling the truth, and I would appreciate it if we could use the hot tub for the one night we are here. He said he would check and then got back to me to say that he could not allow it due to liability issues (even though both hotels are covered by the same insurance company). In short - this hotel seems to like to find it ok to lie to their guests. I don't appreciate dishonesty especially when I am paying money based on what I have been told. Will not stay here again - and if you stay here, don't believe what they tell you when you make a reservation.
