Horrible
They kept my “incidental deposit” for no reason and it was literally impossible to get ahold of an actual person to address this. Spent an hour on the phone with their corporate office getting transferred to At least six different operators. Will NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn again!!

Displeasing/ dissatisfied, harassed- terrible management
Management- Shay was disrespectful and passive over an another guest who had been harassing by dialing my room. The other guest has been living there/ staying there for over 8 months from what both management and receptionist stated. They also stated that it's not the first time that that specific guest complaints and causes a disturbance. I had to unhook my phone with the acknowledgment of the receptionists. When I went to the receptionists desk and let them know that my son who is listed as a guest was emotionally triggered. The fact that the downstairs guest (Connie) was calling my room by 9:00pm to complain about noise was ridiculous and that is not what the policies are- quiet hours are at 10pm. Then the owner Shay arrives and was deflective. Asking how many children I had, and to just keep quiet. Then he got disrespectful calling the downstairs guest a "b****" and that she is old with dementia and more personal information about the guest with the extended family of the guest- Shay should not be speaking about paying customers in that way; or even suggest to me to have both me and the downstairs guest "handle it yourselves". Shay also threatened to kick out both me and the downstairs guest if the downstairs guest continued to complain- which made no sense if Shay admitted that the problem was the downstairs guest. I then informed him that was recording for safety proposes then he tried to change his tone and offered a refund or a 1 day stay for free. I clearly stated that I will no longer be staying at the property and would like a refund but Shay the owner has been super difficult to communicate with. I have not been refunded and I am hoping corporate or someone higher up can support with this. Both receptionists Max and Kelly advised me to call because they said this has happened to other guests and nothing has been done about it. My son and I could not sleep all night, one because the downstairs guest continued to call even after 11pm. My son the. Was crying which was very upsetting to me because we were on Spring Break as most families were at that hotel. Crazy part, I was there only for a day and experienced so much discomfort.

Spacious Room, minor Issues
The property was clean and appeared well-maintained. Our room was a spacious two-queen suite, equipped with a small fridge, microwave, Keurig, and a gas fireplace. When we first entered, there was a faint, musty smell coming from the air conditioner. It was noticeable but not overpowering. The location is in a somewhat residential area, but it's a short walk to a grocery store, restaurants, and fast food. The beach is also just two blocks away. We felt safe walking back to the hotel after dinner. Our room was generally quiet, though we could hear people walking in the room above us. A room on the top floor would likely be better to avoid this noise. A bright security light was mounted outside one of our windows, and some light bled in around the edges of the blackout blinds. This was a minor issue that bothered my wife more than it did me. The free breakfast included standard items like scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, and cereal, along with self-made pancakes and cinnamon rolls. The free Wi-Fi speeds were 55 Mbps down and 37 Mbps up.

Average, not happy with service
It was clean, but customer service was awful. Front desk, I'm sure they were punishing us by putting us in 308 RIGHT by the ice machine and elevator . wWe repeated requests for early check in. But, in a way we loved being close to both. Noisy, yep. But. Having to wander down the hall to the elevator or ice machine wasn't a bad thing either. We had a snafu with our previous lodging and desperately wanted an early check-in as one of our party was not feeling well. tried at noon, one, and 3; they were not accommodating. It was a holiday weekend, but still, they could have been more polite, patient and have better customer service. A smile, understanding, just decency rather than a flat affect and interaction should be basic. Hotel, on the other hand, was clean, breakfast offerings were average, which didn't surprise us. Designated pet area nice but didn't realize this till I walked the dog. I am an IHG member, but due to us booking through a 3rd party, it didn't get applied (used BringFido to ASSURE we had a doggie friendly place). The room-clean, comfy bed, micro, fridge, was fine. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I would book beachfront for same level of service.
