Beautiful view, excellent points room, cool Pokestop, great staff.
Used points to stop on our way up the coast. Great upgrade to a fireplace suite looking out at the bridge and bay. Beautiful waterbirds and pretty bridge in the morning fog. Great Pokestop under the bridge reachable from the room as well as a Pokegym. Staff Carrie had great suggestions for sites to visit. Delicious, complementary, full breakfast, with a very nice staff there taking care of it. Room was super clean, and parking was ample, and free. Super safe feel. Nice riverwalk running past the hotel with benches etc. Highly recommend this hotel. Room 412.
Changed Area Not for the Better
We had stayed here before and were excited to stay again. The hotel is still clean and nice, but the area has changed. Some restaurants were no longer open and the boardwalk had homeless camps along it. No music, white lights or upbeat atmosphere this visit. We will probably not be back.
Hotel was very clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and our view of the bridge and river was beautiful. Bed is comfy and breakfast was great. We would stay here again. Overall perfect for our trip.
Great stay with nice views
Stayed here on a recent road trip with the family. This is the second time staying here (2010) and it is just as good as the first time. We had a 2 Queen room with a river view. I would highly recommend paying the extra fee for the river view, especially if you have kids because ours loved watching the ships go by. The room was clean, front desk was friendly, and the hotel overall is clean and nice. Check in and check out was easy. Breakfast was a good standard hotel breakfast. The only couple negatives I would say is 1) The pool could use a refresh. The bottom of the pool and especially the hot tub are showing their age. The hot tub almost looked dirty, although it wasn't. The good thing though is that they provided some pool toys that the kids enjoyed playing with. and 2) the window's (at least ours didn't) don't have screens. We like to have a bit of white noise and having the window open (especially with the river noise) is perfect for this but with no screen we were worried bugs would be able to get in.
Would definitely return
My friend and I stayed one night for a girls' weekend. We had a great view of the river and bridge. The room was very clean and spacious. A few minutes away is the downtown area full of shops and restaurants. If we find ourselves back in the area we would definitely stay here again.
