Great hotel. Excellent location. Clean, spacious rooms. Really good breakfast in morning. If you’re on the river side, you can watch all the ships. Great view of the bridge and river while eating breakfast. Large chest freezer for fresh fish by ice machine on first floor. Would stay here again.

An amazing experience. Great location on the water right off of 101 and near downtown Astoria. Ample parking, amazing views, great service, and excellent rooms. Breakfast met or exceeded the standard HGI. Definitely will be back--one of the best if not best HGI I've stayed in.

Holiday Inn Express Employees are amazing!
After a 14 hour day with a young family member who who had had a life-threatening emergency; Lisa at the front desk accommodated our unexpected needs finding us a very peaceful room where we could sleep. Thank you Tina, thank you IHG. I have always liked HIEs, and now I am so appreciative of the “way-beyond-5-star” rating they deserve today and everyday. Tina is five-star!!

I would stay here again, great location!
Our overall experience was perfect! The hotel lobby area accommodated our group very well. Breakfast was enjoyable. We had a large group celebrating the retirement of our daughter from the Coast Guard. Nathan, who worked the front desk was kind, helpful and very pleasant to work with. My only disappointment was the cleanliness of the shower. The shelf in the shower was filthy with multiple circles from shaving cream or shampoo bottles from the previous guest and dark hairs on the shelf and shower walls I was able to get cleaning supplies from the front desk.

Impressed with stay for family of 5.
This was a surprisingly nice stay. Rare find for a hotel that comfortably fits a family of 5. Great views of River. Kind staff. Pool and hot tub. Games, puzzles, and cards available. Decent breakfast. Good restaurants nearby. Free parking.
