Amenities for this home include a flatscreen cable TV with a DVD player, a futon couch in the living room, and free WiFi to stream your favorite music or research your next Cannon Beach adventure. The family dog is also welcome.

Lacks Attention to Detail

The rooms are about what you'd expect based on the pictures. Nothing particularly fancy, but it works well enough. The location is pretty good in terms of access to the beach and walkability. The biggest turn off for us was the grounds. It just looks sloppy. It doesn't feel like anyone takes pride in keeping up with the exterior. For example, there is a dumpster just sitting in front of the property in clear sight lines of everything. It's not behind a fence or partition or even tucked away behind a corner, just out in front at all times for the world to see. As soon as you drive up or walk in/out, garbage is what you think about, and that pretty much sets the tone for the rest of the stay. A little sprucing and some simple thoughtfulness about garbage placement could go a long way here.

I've been coming to CB for over 30 years and stayed a ton of places. This place is Tiny! It sleeps 4 but unless they are tiny kids think again. The bathroom is super small with hardly a shelf to hold anything. The bedroom is big enough to just walk around the bed. Don't plan on a place for your luggage. The grounds are nothing special. There is a pond that isn't working with swampy water in it. The glasses, microwave, blinds and fan were super dirty. Glad I brought my lysol and wipes!! The plus is that it's close to the beach and town and allows pets. We stayed in #2

I don’t want to be negative but this is how it is!

The pictures are not exactly what you see. First after a long drive we where very tiered. I pulled back the sheets and there was black hair in them. The bedroom lights didn’t work ,the towel rack on the bathroom door kept falling off, the bedroom. Door didn’t work. It was nice to have tv for those rainy days.the bed spreads where brown and unwashed. And really remember to wash your own dishes before you leave because they don’t wash them or make sure there clean when you come. So I just had to wash them all over again for us. Most people don’t wash dishes very good. Plus the virus could be on them.The chair in the front room is very uncomfortable and broken down. They could just go to the goodwill and get a comfortable one for 20.00. So there is a twin bed to sit on, that’s it besides the folding chairs.not much comfort here. The bed is hard but I like hard beds. It was comfortable for me. I am disabled with back back and I liked it. Do t know how to contact someone here to help out with these things oh and last but not least you need cooking utensils because these are melted and burnt. It’s a short drive to the beach close to haystack and it’s beautiful. We loved it here. Other than this we had a great time

Small and lacking attention to detail

We knew the place was small but it was much smaller than expected. There is hardly room for 2 people to move around in the same room. Only 1 person can be in the bathroom at a time. The only bathroom is through the bedroom- the door into the bedroom loudly slides open and closed and the bathroom door has a clanging latch. There is a dresser in the living room and no closets. There’s a few hooks in the bedroom and nowhere else to hang clothing or jackets. The only mirror is in the tiny bathroom so getting ready for multiple people is challenging. The fridge doesn’t have water and there’s no coffee for the pot though there’s cups and silverware. It’s pet friendly but no amenities for the pets at all- no clear markings for an area to take pets or outdoor waste bin, no pet bowls or treats. Many things were pretty old and worn, with art work having tears or missing the glass, etc. The location is good and the place works fine for a brief stay but I wouldn’t stay again.
