After considering a different hotel, we decided to stay at the Hi Tides. The room was offered at a fair price and included many amenities that we eventually did not utilize during our one night stay. The room was clean, the bed fresh and comfy while the shower offered an endless supply of hot water. We also enjoyed the electronic fireplace. The hotel is also conveniently located just a short promenade walk from Broadway Street where there are plenty of restaurants and shops to visit. We enjoyed a wonderful meal of buttery clam chowder, grilled halibut and snow crab at Doogerâs Seafood Grill. All in all , a great place to stay!

Great location. Clean. Wonderful staff. Nice breakfast variety. Affordable. Always a fantastic experience. Will be back soon.

Room 205. Good: Great location! Great view! Good water pressure in shower. Good quality towels and decent toilet paper. Nice deck but holes in screen (no bugs seen though). Table and chairs and chairs on patio. Bed very comfortable. Hot water in kitchen sink area very, very hot- watch out! Good for quickly making tea. Kitchen seemed to be stocked with most basics. Nice fireplace (we didnât use it, but tested it anyway). Light breakfast served in office area (cereals, breads, coffee, tea, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, PB jelly, etc). Bad: The elevator shook so much as it arrived on the second floor we were sure it was going to crash! Didnât use after that one time. One outdoor staircase had cracks and separated levels; not sound for many people. The lights on both side of bed were bluish colored and very dim. Also, the light shines off the side of the bed so they are not good for reading. Tiny bathroom sink area, needs a shelf on left wall, tiny shower and toilet area with loud fan. Full size mirror opposite the shower in bathroom. WHY!? No bath mat for shower. Thin walls, dog next door barking for hours. Late at night and again in early morning people on promenade yelling, speaking loudly. Around 11:30 pm the man below us on his deck talking loudly on phone for about 30 min. Light switch in main hallway doesnât control anything. Hotel is right on the tsunami evacuation route and alert âhornâ is right outside the window. Light from outside streetlights pour through our window- we could have closed the curtains up tight but that would block the fresh sea air and sound, which is why we wanted to stay here.

Hi-Tide Oceanfront Inn is where we always stay in Seaside, OR.
We always stay at Hi-Tide Oceanfront Inn when we are in Seaside. The lodging is dated but the rooms are spacious (except for the bathrooms) and the views of the ocean are great. I love that each room has its own private balcony. The booking staff is super helpful and welcoming.

Relaxing 3 Day Vacation
Great location, clean, large rooms, nice spacious balcony, good value, friendly staff, and dog-friendly! Loved that it had an elevator.
