GROSS on the COAST
Smells like sewage. Filthy room. I have never been so sad to have to stay in a motel. Stains and hair on sheets. For 100$ a night I guess I shouldn't be too shocked but also how in the world is this listed as a 3 star hotel on Google? It is NO Stars... all SMELL.

Very Clean and Reasonably Priced
Due to a booking mess up by the Howonquet Lodge in Smith River where we usually stay, we had to scramble to find rooms for 5 of us for 3 nights. (People had started traveling again so accommodations were not that easy to find.) The Harbor Inn had rooms avalable. It was very clean and staff was friendly and efficient. There are no coffeemakers in the rooms but coffee is available in the office and it is very good. It is next door to one of the top breakfast restaurants in Brookings. Can't say as the mattresses were all that comfy but I am like the Princess and the Pea when it comes to hotel mattresses. Main thing for us besides safety and decent sleep is that the lodging was very clean. (Note that there is an adjustment on the shower head to get a better water output spray.)

Affordable stay with polite staff.
I chose this hotel because it was budget friendly and they allowed dogs. The hotel is little outdated and run-down but the room was more than sufficient. Although it was a pet friendly room, it didn't smell like dogs like other places and had a nice hard floor. It's close to the roads but traffic noise died down and it was relatively quiet after that. The beds in my room were EXTRA firm. You get what you pay for and no one on the coast is spending all day in the room so I would stay again.

Good for a motorcycle overnighter
Friendly reception upon arrival by Rosanna and received upstairs and quiet room as requested in my booking. The two queen bed room was away from the street traffic (right of route 101) with a table and two chairs, dresser, fridge and microwave. The room and bath were clean, though the furniture well worn. No breakfast offered, but there is a breakfast restaurant across the street. It was "ok".

Horrible. Do not stay here.
My partner and I drove here from Portland for the jacuzzi suites. Unfortunately, their website is out of date and does not list their pet policies, which includes banning pets from jacuzzi suites. After explaining how long we drove and that it was my birthday, we were still given less than satisfactory customer service and a small room that looked nothing like what was advertised online, with none of the amenities listed. I also found a bug in the bathroom. I give this place 1 star only because 0 stars is not an option, and I recommend you consider elsewhere.
