Needs a good cleaning!
Room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The room needs a good cleaning especially walls and bathroom. One of the reception staff needs a bit of training as she asked if I had room door cards or did I leave them in room. She said she too has forgotten to return them and “steamed” them. I said I rarely return them and do not believe it’s considered stealing, the 2nd reception staff apologized for the comments.
tried to cancel, Staff could not give us policy without manager, manager would never call back, charged full price.
Tried to cancel do to feeling un well, before check in , staff did not know the policy if we would be charged full price if we did not spend the night. Wanted to see if the would provide some sort of discount for not cleaning the room or anything if we did not stay. The staff could not give us an answer, and said the manager would call us back. The manager would never call us back. Tried two different times and left messages, was charge full price and never even got points even though I was charged full price. Will never stay at that Hampton. Hilton also would not do anything even though they didn’t have to clean the room and I had been a customer for over 10 years. I have never been so disappointed in customer service.
Beware, they will double charge you. I booked this hotel through the Hilton Advance Purchase option online where my card was charged by Hilton on 8/14/23. Upon checking out on 9/24/203, my card was charged again for the same amount. I waited a few days to make sure the charge ended up going through and once it did called the hotel. They stated that there was “nothing they could do” and that I must “dispute it with my credit card”. Potentially they charge twice and hope you don’t notice? Either way shady business practices.
High room rates, Low Customer service
Extremely high rates - extremely poor service Last week the rates at this motel were over $300.00 per room. Granted it was during Rodeo week! Hotel is clean and room spacious. Main disappointment was the WIFI - not working, nor anyone in the front desk at 9.15 pm When we checked out and mentioned about the WIFI and the fact no one was there to help....they just gave us a look of "too bad". Staff was definitely not friendly. For next year I plan to stay again at the Best Western - at least they are friendly.
Lack luster not clean substandard staff
I arrived to find someone hanging out of a pickup window in front of the hotel entrance. As I headed in this person turned out to be the front desk manager. Out of breath from hurting in she began going through a rote performance of the normally very professional presentation I get at any Hilton check in. As she handed me my key she mentioned the pool area was closed. I indicated I had been driving for 12 hours and that was my whole point in stopping. No comment at all. I proceeded to my room to find it lack luster and not very clean. First time this has ever happened in a Hilton property. I picked up the phone to call the front desk. And found it sticky. Turned off I proceeded downstairs to check out and ask for a refund so I could just travel on. I was told no refund within 24 hours. What a joke. I had just made the reservation 2 hours before. Overall very poor experience and a first for a Hilton property overall not impressed
