    Best Mother’s Day Weekend ever!

    Hallmark in Newport, OR. May 8th -10th. We were a 4 generation family on a ‘girls trip’. After checking in decided the two bedroom suite would work best instead of Loft. I can’t say enough good comments about the front desk personnel & General Mngr. They were so accommodating, ensuring we had the best Mother’s Day weekend ever!! Room was so clean & best balcony views.

    Great Views, very comfortable and wonderful staff.

    We look fwd. to every stay at Hallmark! We usually have a 2 day business trip and break up the days by ending the 1st day at your resort. Always an amazing view, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Can't say enough about this place! we LOVE it! See you again soon!

    Not as good as it used to be for the price

    Hello, We’ve always loved your resort (and especially room service from Georgie’s) and make a point to visit about once a year. Because of that, I wanted to share some feedback from our most recent stay. This visit included a frustrating check-in experience that could have become a much bigger issue. We called about an hour before arrival and were told there was one pet-friendly room available. The person on the phone was very kind and even asked about our dog, so we felt confident everything was set. However, when we arrived, we were asked to sign a form stating we would not have pets in the room. At that point, we realized the information hadn’t been passed along. The front desk had to restart the check-in process and move us to a different room—the only pet-friendly option left—which was a two-bedroom we didn’t need. The situation felt awkward, delayed other guests, and lacked the personal, welcoming experience we’re used to. Additionally, the room itself showed noticeable wear: a torn fireplace screen, worn wood around the screen door, and carpeting that appeared dirty. The TV only received one channel, and the DVD player was missing. While these weren’t critical for us, they didn’t match the price point of the stay. We value this property and have enjoyed staying here over the years, but this experience—especially given the cost for a single night—left us reconsidering future visits.     Beach front with fireplace and choice of pet or non-pet rooms.

    There are so many accommodation options to choose from along the Oregon Coast that it was a little overwhelming to decide where to stay. We relied on reviews to help make a decision, and were glad we ended up at Hallmark Resort. Employees were friendly and helpful, our room was super clean and bed was comfy, we loved having a fireplace and the oversized mini-fridge, and best is being beachfront without overlooking a road or parking lot. We also liked that there was a choice of pet or no-pet rooms. Georgie's, the restaurant right next door was delicious. Plus we loved the walkability to the HistoricBay front, Nye Beach, the state park with walking trails, and with many restaurants/cafes closeby. We were happy with our 2 night stay on the top floor, and would choose Hallmark again next time our travels take us to the Oregon Coast.

    Great rooms ocean views, easy beach access plus indoor pool, sauna, hot tub

    This was a return visit to celebrate our anniversary. Weather was great, room and accommodations were great. We are planning a return trip soon, we learned they own other properties, I believe this location may be our favorite. In the future if we shall book Hallmark first if available. Rooms are all very nice and the pool and extra's here are very well maintained. Staff is wonderful too.
