Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was helpful and kind. Though this hotel is older, it checks all the boxes for a budget stay.

Nice clean room at a good price
I have no idea or when some of these reviews were posted, but our experience was totally opposite. A young girl checked us in after calling someone to see if she could honor the internet price for the night. She was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was really nice! Very clean, incredibly good bed, refrigerator, microwave, and a nice shower. It's not a large room but it worked very well for us. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

The manager on duty, wow how terrible. We walked in to check in, threw us a paper to fill out. I was with a girlfriend, he asked us do we want just one bed, We already requested two beds. He was checking us out, very crippy. Requested extra towel, he asked us why? Terrible manager, terrible customer service. Never again at this place!

Wow, what a stay. Your treated like a thief needing to ask for anything, ice, towels, iron, blow dryer, etc. Then charge $20 for an hour late check out!!! It is hard vinyl plank floors, no parking, and just the basics....

I would not go to the Galaxie Motel they don't honor reservations. Several months ago we booked a room. We were going to the OSU evening football game and didn't want to drive home late at night. We called 8 days before the game to make sure of the reservation and were assured they had it. Two days before the game we called to advise them that we would be arriving late after the game and they assured us that would not be a problem. When we arrived at 11:45 pm we were told they didn't have a room for us. They had accidentally put the reservation in the recycle pile and gave our room away, they don't use a computer to keep tract of reservations. They had stacks of post it notes with names in no apparent order. Their comment was they could not do anything for us. As disorganized as the office was I can only imagine what the rooms look like.
