Cozy Comfy Cabin at the Lake
The Lake is so beautiful and so is the surrounding area. We were lucky enough to find a cabin available for our weekend stay and we loved it!! Built in 1924 it was rustic but was fully furnished, clean, had the essentials, allowed dogs and so comfortable! Not to mention it was located just a brief walk from the heart of all the Lake activities. You can borrow dvds and books from the office (however we enjoyed watching the wildlife more as there is so much to see). Such friendly people! Deer wandering around everywhere (stay safe and don’t feed) so cool to see! They offer a variety of cabins to stay in so i highly recommend. And so great they accommodate our four legged family as well.

Cabins, some very nice, some like cabins.
We have stayed here about five times over the years, it's really nice - the Lake area is wonderful, beautiful, and a hidden paradise. Some cabins on the river are homes that are absolutely great to rent, some are not, but much cheaper, yet cozy. Rentals and price will reflect the newness and the location. The lake activities are all within walking distance, and we recommend you walk around the park and enjoy the mountain feel of this area. Flying Arrow will do everything it can to see you have all your necessary household items you need. If you need anything just call them or stop by the office. Love this place, it's home to us, as the family all have roots here in the county - we visit often and have chosen Flying Arrow over the past five years to book us our weekly stay at Wallowa Lake.

Vacation at beautiful Wallowa Lake
We had a great experience in Cabin 125. More than enough room for 4 of us, well stocked with towels and necessary cooking essentials. Fridge/freezer worked wonders and froze our caught fish in a hurry! Not to mention the ice cubes we needed to stay cool during the hot temps. Washer and dryer in the unit was an added bonus. Kettle BBQ worked great (bring your own briquettes). Screened porch was lovely .. nice to sit out in the air and still be protected from whatever bugs may be around. Sitting on the deck was serene, with partial views of the lake. Provided firewood was great for use of the indoor fireplace. Even though it was 85+ during the day, it was nice to hear the crackle of a fire in the night and added to the ambiance of 'camping' and being in the woods. Peeped a few deer, and a black bear that ran up the hillside and surfaced on the road behind our truck, then ran up the driveway to our cabin (it was being chased by troopers). Glad I didn't delay in leaving the house - may have come face to face. What an exciting start to our vacation! Can't wait for our next vacation to Wallowa Lake, and other cabins that we can check into.

Vacation
We had a great experience and we stayed in cabin 42 Mirror Lake. The cabin was large enough for 4 of us and with 2 dogs. The river was right behind us and was beautiful. Tons of deer that walk right past the cabin. Management was very nice and helpful and they got us in a few hours early. I highly recommend this cabin. Beauty everywhere.

Home Sweet Home
We have rented from Flying Arrow many times. This time we stayed in Cabin 101, which is directly across from the Go Carts. Luckily it wasn't busy this middle of the week, and the few times we heard them, they must have mufflered the carts because it was not as annoying as I remember it being in the past. The good thing about the location of this cabin is the sound of the nearby rushing Wallowa river, which you can spy from the deck. Also it is across the street from the only food truck in town, a Thai food truck that has delicious food and not to be missed. This cabin comfortably houses 2 people. It has a small efficient kitchen where the oven, stove and microwave all work. There is a coffee maker, blender, toaster and mixer plus all the cookware and dishes etc. you could need. Bring your own paper towels, zip lock, plastic, and tinfoil as needed. The fridge is old with the freezer compartment that is not separate, but it kept the ice cream frozen, so that's all we worried about. The living room is open to the kitchen/dining and has a comfortable electric reclining love seat and another recliner, plus a TV with lots of channels that are not fuzzy and also plays vhs and dvd. An easily controlled gas fire place makes the place cozy. The bathroom is one step away from a triple S. Small, you can sit and wash your hands at the same time. The shower is in the corner and would be fine except the shower curtain oversteps its place and likes to hug your naked body while showering. Some heavy weights placed in the hem would be most helpful to keep it in line. Bring your own TP unless you enjoy chaffing. The bedroom is large with a queen size bed. It is comfortable, although the hubby said he will bring his own pillow next time. I had no problem. There is another TV in the bedroom for playing dvd's and vhs movies only. A padded storage bench worked great for our suit cases, but there is also a dresser. The closet is in the hall across from the bathroom and had plenty of hangers. There is a nice deck with an outdoor table and 2 chairs. Also a Kettle BBQ, bring your own briquettes. The rail up the 3 small steps to the deck needs to be reinforced. Iris' were in bloom around the Cabin. We watched lots of deer, robins, blue jays, and chipmunks outside the big window. There is Wi-Fi. My iPhone had no cell service and very spotty Wi-Fi, however my kindle picked it up as did my husbands droid, which also had cell service. I would stay here again. It was very pleasant and comfortable, a good location.
