We loved this motel. It was right on the beach. The room was perfect - huge and very clean. Could hear the ocean all night long - just loved that! All the staff were nice. We had 2 lovely nights there and were very pleased. We recommend it highly!

Great view - shabby accommodations! when I was searching for lodging for our Central Coast slow-road trip there were several high priced options ($600+/nt) that i was interested in but couldnt justify the price - but now that we are staying in a $300/nt place that really is more like an $80/nt place - i would happily pay them! the view from the rooms doesnt justify: tattered, torn furniture, scratchy cheap sheets, thread bare towels, poor lighting, no room amenities and poor (if any housekeeping). after check-in in the cute lobby / gift shop that is cozy and well lit - we were shocked to get to our super dark and smelly room! i immediately went back to the lobby to find a candle or something else to get rid of the smell. the front desk gal was sympathetic and gave me the candle for free. while the room smelled better, it didnt makeup for the other short comings. in the era of the global marketplace - its hard to justify such shabby amenities, when some thoughtfulness and key upgrades would quickly bring the quality of the rooms up to the price that is charged.

Beautiful views and restaurants. A great town to relax in.
The premium price gave a view that is spectacular but the room was filthy and nothing worked. I plugged in the refrigerator, rebooted the microwave and had no TV. We used the time we were out and about to find another place we can stay on our next visit.

Luxury Woman LOVES This Motel
Listen- I am a luxury hotel girl. Can’t remember the last time I stayed in a motel. This. Place. Is. Excellent. Big rooms. VERY clean. And the views!!!! Be sure to get a fireplace, ocean view room. There is a great walking path directly in front of the motel and it’s like a slice of heaven to walk it. Cannot recommend it enough.

Our favorite place on the Oregon Coast
We discovered this wonderful location years ago when we decided to take a trip up the west coast. It was highly rated , and highly recommended. We were not disappointed in that choice. We loved the Yachats area and its location on the coast. It was an atmosphere of quiet , simple, clean and enjoyable comfort. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and relaxing. The cost is always affordable and they have discounts for veterans and food donations. The staff is incredible and helpful. They make your stay relaxing. We have chosen Fireside Motel as our go to location for our last 3-4 anniversary get away trips to the Oregon Coast and as a longer stayover on trips up the West Coast. Wish we had the time to stay longer. WE WILL BE RETURNING. :)
