Hotel Charged Bogus Fee
After we had checked out and left, the hotel charged us a $50 ‘Pet Fee’ even though we had no pet with us. I don’t know if this is a common scam that hotels use, but it is enough to put me off of ever staying in this hotel again.

Super Sketchy
The stay itself was not terrible, it’s an older hotel that has been mostly renovated. They get one star because they did the sketchiest thing I’ve ever seen with my reservation. I checked out on the correct day for my reservation and received my bill via email, the next thing I know I’m checked back into the hotel with a third night where they charge me taxes. Later when I check my account, the reservation is not in my account as a previous stay, and I didn’t receive the nights or benefits for the stay at all. I had to call Marriott corporate twice and am waiting for them to recognize the nights of my stay, refund taxes, and put the reservation in my history.

Not really downtown
This Fairfield Inn is not really downtown but a mile or 20 minutes walk away. Wedged between I97 and the busy NW Wall Street in Bend, there is a constant traffic noise. Friendly staff. We had a room called Executive Suite, with a small living room. Ok size, with fridge, microwave and coffee machine. No room safe. Large bathroom with a good shower. Small fitness center with weights and some other equipment. Small indoorpool and whirlpool. Free buffet and hot breakfast, which was ok. Ample parking.

No complaints
No complaints here! Clean, spacious rooms, right off the highway, titanium members get free stuff from the pantry and it looked like they had a couple mountain bikes to rent! It's close to a couple restaurants and the last Blockbuster in the world.

Stopped by for quick stay - Standard Fairfield
Stopped by on way from Crater Lake to Mt. Hood. Standard Fairfield. Felt safe (not really sure about the entire area). Clean, easy parking. Had a nice upgrade to a room with a nice spa tub. Had to drive to get to any restaurant.
