Not safe to park here
NEVER AGAIN! PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK! I parked my car right in front of the hotel, directly in front of a security camera during my stay. When I got up to leave the next morning, my window was smashed and my personal belongings were stolen. When police arrived, the manager refused to pull security footage claiming he didn't know how to. He did not offer to call anyone who did know or go back and have it reviewed later. This is not the first report of such behavior from this hotel's staff. I realize that my stolen property is my problem, but the attitude of the manager that he could not be bothered about it is unacceptable. My business will be taken elsewhere.

DISCERNING GRANDMOTHER
The pretty entry picture does NOT reflect the nature of the location. Besides the fact that the price was bumped astronomically (to more than $750/night/room) with an even greater difference between the Eugene Hilton Hotel property due to the University of Oregon graduation, our (2) rooms did not deserve the 'Suite" designation. Despite having a 'River View', there was no mention that the 'view' lay beyond the main road which was heavily trafficked and noisy all night long. The sofa/bed in the adjacent room was not made up which my daughter needed to attend to because the hotel was short staffed in the evening. The buffet breakfast was mediocre [at best]. We ate outside the second morning. We are long time Marriott Reward members accustomed to different standard and quality sorely lacking with this brand and site. The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & 'Suites' Eugene might as well have been a Motel 6 and my review reflects that experience.

Scammers and nasty general manager
Chantel cussed me out on the phone and declined to refund my business card because I have an ear infection that my doctor requires me not to fly, causing me to have to reschedule. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. SHOW UP ON DAY OF OR NOT AT ALL. THEY ARE SCAMMING ME BY OVER $100

Far more than you might expect!
This place punches way above its weight… in terms of cleanliness, room quality (especially the suite with sectional sofa), breakfast and particularly staff. Natalie at the Front Desk is a true star. She is courteous, kind and utterly professional. Thank you for making my last two stays so enjoyable. I look forward to my next!

Awesome Experience
My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for our trip to Jeff Dunham this month. We had booked a standard room, unfortunately I tore the tendon in my ankle one week before we were due to arrive. I called and they were very accommodating to my requirements due to my injury. Vanessa the GM was so sweet in working with us to get an early check in and making sure everything was good in the room. Once we returned from the show, Max, at the front desk that evening went above and beyond. My ankle was so swollen due to being on it all the time and we asked for an extra ice bucket bag, so we could make an Ice pack. He offered to get us ziplock bags for more convenience as well as provided additional pillows for my ankle. We are now Marriott members and will continue using them as we travel.
