Great place for a great price.
This is the 4th time we stayed here over the last 5 years. It is right in the main part of Yachats. It is well priced, clean comfortable and quiet. We get an upstairs room where we can see and hear the ocean. The rooms are large. There is nothing fancy about the motel. If you want to pay extra for fancy there are plenty of other options. I spend my time at the ocean walking on the beach and hiking on a nearby trail. It is a short walk to a lovely spot to sit on a bench on the ocean. You can walk to restaurants and there is a drive through coffee shop super close that I walk to every morning with my dog.

Clean, friendly, quiet
Clean and friendly motel conveniently located near downtown Yachats. Our room was simple but very clean, bright and cheerful and had an ocean view. Our room was at the back of the hotel so very quiet, despite the location on the town's main street. And they're dog-friendly. Bonus for that and for the friendly staff!

Another town off the list
The man at the counter was very helpful with info about the early shutdown of restaurants in the area. The room was huge! You can definitely see the ocean, but you're still a couple blocks away. Didn't use the pool, but it was open.

Unfriendly to Guests
I paid to stay at the Dublin House Motel and received such rude customer service before departing on my trip that I could not proceed with subjecting myself to such disrespectful customer service. This review illustrates my experience as a customer who paid for services that were never rendered, which still makes me a customer, this is a review of services i paid for and did not receive. Because of my review, the manager reached out and told me that I am on their no rent list. This information is relevant to other travelers because it is an honest review of my experience as a customer. The staff ran my card before I was ready to add funds (25 hours before check in), and when I called to ask for them to run it again after adding funds, the front desk staff member Yvonne immediately told me that i had a bad card and was asking if I was canceling. When I asked her to run my card again after I had fixed the issue immediately upon seeing communications from Brian via messages on hotel.com (i was not called directly, this is just a note for future customers with disabilities like my own). She told me there were paying customers she needed to help, which conveyed an attitude of disrespect. She then charged my card after I calmly told her that I understand she is busy, but my card would not decline. After paying $200 and requesting a refund after realizing how upsetting that entire interaction was, the manager criticized me online and over the phone. I have not received a refund so I believe this still counts as a justified review!
