If my dog was writing this, she’d be giving this 10 stars. Upon arrival we were given a doggie care pouch with a water bowl, a small dog bed that inexplicably was a big hit, and then plenty of grass and open space out the back door, leading straight down to the beach. A lotta fun. The hotel rooms themselves are “rustic”—not luxurious by any means and some things a little rusty and rigged up but still clean and passable. Sometimes we put dog dreams first.
Great dog friendly motel with large green space and direct beach access. Very accommodating with dog towels, bowls and treats. Would of preferred larger rooms, but with weather permitting there is a large ocean side patio available for the units. I would definitely stay here again.
1 night at Deans on our way to the south coast. They gave us a free upgrade to a king with somewhat of an ocean view. This place is older but well taken care of, its nice to park right outside of your room. Room was clean and easy access to the beach.
Great place. We stayed there for a night while driving the Oregon coast. Very happy, very comfortable and clean, and reasonably priced. Yes its older and a bit dated but its in a great location. Has a large yard/area with few benches overlooking the beach and beach access. Great place to watch sunset, and stars. They also have places to grill. Room was comfortable, with a gas fireplace. Located in a perfect location, just 7 minutes from Yachats. Staff was excellent, friendly and recommended places to see and eat. Breakfast was basic with fruit, coffee and donuts. Would definitely stay there again. I think it called Tillicum Beach Motel now.
Very warm & welcoming staff. Offered tips on things to do & places to eat. Comfortable room with great wifi. Steps down to the beach for awesome walks on a long, uncrowded beach. VERY pet friendly.
